Midalidare Hotel & SPA

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at the Midalidare Estate on September 24th, 2022. I would like to mention that I am American, and I do not speak a lot of Bulgarian, however, the language barrier was not an issue for all the staff at Midalidare hotel and spa. My husband and I had a lot of friends and family from America stay at the hotel resort and everyone absolutely enjoyed themselves there. The staff was very kind and attentive to our needs and the food in the restaurant is delicious. The wedding reception was perfect, and the fireworks were amazing. We are happy we decided to have our special day at this location. I highly recommend Midalidare Estate for weddings, small or large.

Very chique hotel with a big Spa area and different saunas and pools. The wine from the estate is very tasty and was paired very well with the food. The staff was friendly and arranged a great wine massage for us. The rooms were clean and had great interior design. Modern bathroom on the one hand, stylish room interior on the other hand. It didn't occur to us to check for sourrounding activities but it seems a bit located in the middle of nowhere which is maybe the only downside. But as a stay on the way from or to the Black Sea this should be considered as a great choice.

One of the best boutique hotels in the country, in my opinion. It easily beats some 5-star hotels with its attention to detail, amazing setting, great kitchen, clean facilities, awesome spa and a fully-blown out fitness center (+ tennis/soccer field). To top it off, the winery nearby and the excellent wines make it a must-visit. Will definitely be back! The only little negative I can think of is that most rooms don't seem to have a balcony and there is no outdoor pool, but everything else is amazing. Great job!

Cannot be happier with our stay at Midalidare Estate.
Exceptional service, room conditions, SPA and not to mention the pool and its amazing view. Really peaceful place. We even had the luck to be moved to the VIP apartment at no additional cost, which was a great response to the incident with our bathroom.
Both, the food and the service in the restaurant were at a very decent level.
All in all, definitely will revisit if not even becoming the go-to relax location.

Midalidare Hotel & Spa is simply amazing!
The hotel and the premises are beautiful, comfortable and very tidy. The stuff are friendly and helpful. What I find unique and absolutely terrific is that Midalidare is a perfect destination for a romantic getaway – and for a family trip alike! We came as a couple and enjoyed every bit of out stay – delicious meals, delightful countryside, bike rides and walks, great pool and spa area! And I could tell that families with children were really enjoying themselves, too.
Would love to come again for I haven't been this zen and relaxed for a long while.
The only question is why three stars, it should be more!

Simply amazing! Gorgeous nature view, wonderful wine selections, beautiful architecture of all the Estate's buildings. So many nice things to do with your family, friends or loved one. Perfect for wedding and birthday parties! The one flaw - overbooked at the spring and summer season.

Loved it! The food and wine were exquisite! I read that they are "overpriced" but they are just expensive. There is a big difference. They are on the expensive side but totally worth it. The staff is friendly and well trained. The location is hard (if at all) to reach without an automobile though. The village where the hotel and winery are situated is pretty much abandon so make sure you stock with things you need - medicine, gadgets, snacks.

Really enjoyed staying in this world-class hotel in an unexpected place. The entire place is state of the art and tastefully decorated in Provence style and one could notice that no effort was spared to take care of the details. The kids loved the SPA center and especially the giant aquarium in the relaxation area was an eye catcher. Was a bit surprised that the buffet breakfast turned out to be a full breakfast. Overall I would really recommend it for a business trip or a weekend away with your loved ones.

This gorgeous hotel in the heart of a gorgeous village is really a beautiful place for a relaxing short stay. The facilities are excellent value for money, as use of the spa is included in your stay. The food is all wonderful quality and fresh, and the scenery is hugely rewarding. Best of all, however, is the Midalidare Winery, which provided the most informative wine tour I've done. Many of their wines are prize winners and all are excellent value for the quality. A must-visit location in Bulgaria!

This place is truly fantastic!!! We booked Easter holiday package which included breakfast, festive dinner and lunch. Food was amazing, fresh products from the region very well prepared and served with a friendly service. Rooms were also super. Very clean, furniture are modern and new. The standard room size is relatively small however there is an option for a studio. The studio size is much bigger and I think better choice as price difference is minimal.. in general in the resort there are other options for accommodation so there is quite some choice.
The spa facilities are perfect.. swimming pool water temperature is approx 30 something degrees and not too much chlor.. there is also stream bath, sauna , relax room.. quite some choice. I tried also some Spa services such as massage peeling and those were great as well.. the cosmetic they work with is super and the treatment as such is done very professional and as well everything I the Spa is super clean..
The resort offers also some activities. I did the wine tour and a bike wine tour.. I recommend both as you will see the wineries and also the vineyards.. the bikes for the tour are ebikes so the biking is really pleasant beside it includes sparkling wine testing .. really nice .. for other activities there is really modern fitness center and also there are some short walks in the area..
Overall place combines nature amazing food, facilities and friendly staff.. perfect getaway in every time of the year..

Beautiful hotel, well maintained and kind staff. The spa is nice and there is a variety of massages to try. The food and the wine are superb, however the restaurant is a bit on the pricey side. The accommodation is very good and there are a lot of activities to do and they are adding a lot of new ones.

The studio we were in was great. There is really great room with a small kitchen, and also they provided us with an extra bed for the kid. They are friendly and always looking to help you. The SPA is also really good. There are several options you could choose from, like Roman bath, Finnish Sauna, Infrared one, etc. It is also kids friendly since on top of the bigger pool, there is a small one for kids, and also a hot Jacuzzi to chill in. Also we forget one bag in the room, and a lady from the hotel was chasing us, to give it back. Great place, will visit it again soon.

One of the most beautiful village and winery in Bulgaria I've ever been! In the heart of the Sredna gora mountain you can find friendly people, good wine, great hotel, tennis courts, sport center and pristine nature!

We only had a lunch there, after visiting the amazing vineyard, but were absolutely amazed by the quality of the establishment, the service and the food...so we can't wait to find the time to book a room, enjoy the spa and discover the nature around this hidden gem!

We had great experience in this hotel. Loved every bit of it - the interior is great, the food in the restaurant was fantastic, the wine was exceptional. The SPA was great, although I've seen better.

Very good hotel with high quality wine. It is a very quiet place. The rooms are big, nice and clean. The spa area ist properly aranged. The prices are very low for such kind of a service. The whole complex is build in a provance style.

We didn’t stayed at the hotel, but ate at the restaurant and was really really good! Ordered two different fishes and both were perfect. And the desert was the same. Plus really nice staff with great English.

Just wow, as the hotel, such the restaurant. Who said a gourmet dish can't be big enough to feed you? Judge for yourself.

Everything was great. Room, spa, restaurant, wine, location. Perfect place for 1-2 days relaxing. 🧘‍♂🍷
