Suchurum Waterfall

Lovely! Waterfall us in a suburb of Karlovo, takes only 8 minutes to reach it. Only one sad detail- local people and tourists don’t treat nature miracle properly and leave garbage on their way…People, be more responsible and carrying: earth is our home, not a garbage dump :(

Absolutely beautiful! 😍😍😍 Make sure to go at quiet hours though, because the space on the bridges isn't much and the locals and other tourists visit it regularly, so it could get a bit crowded. 🌄🌞🗺

Wonderful place to visit or you can even take you swimsuit with you, but be careful it is not made for public use - see the pictures. The walk to there is super easy and beautiful- you will walk on the city walking street and continue to the waterfall - it is like 25-30 slow walk time. You do not need a specific equipment for this walk. Really recommend for everybody.

A lovely place to visit with your family and friends. The walk to there is also great going near the river.

P. S an year later is the very same lovely place. Just be careful, because near the river are a lot of bushes and spreaded rocks, so snakes are really going around. One is shown in the image below, but have in mind that more likely those snakes are NOT a treat for you, so please, please, if you see such, do not harm it! Just avoid it!

P. S. 2 It is still nice to visit the waterfall, the river is nice as well, however sometimes is it extremely powerful, so be careful around it!

You can walk up the mountain if you are physically fit and active, drop down off the bridge over the pipe, cross the stream on the stepping stones and climb up the right hand side of the mountain

Excellent place. The easy way to see it is through the power plant yard, but if you take the stairs before the entrance you will be able to climb your way to the top where the look and feel is even better.

Short walk and a nice spot to cool down in the hot weather.

You can swim or jump during summer, the water is cold. 10/10 will visit again!

A beautiful waterfall to check while in the area. It's not at all far from the city centre. There is a lot of shade, during the walk, because of the many park trees around you, so you can also visit even if the weather is hot. A place worth visiting while in Karlovo.

The walk from the city center to the waterfall is amazing. So peaceful and beautiful. A must see in the city of Karlovo.

Great place for relax and an hour walk in the nature. Just an hour driving from the second biggest city in Bulgaria, Suchurum Waterfall offers the tourist the pleasure of the nature and escape from the city.
Place allows easy parking and is suitable for families with children. There’s a couple of restaurants nearby which offers variety of delicious food.

Not the biggest waterfall, but a pretty nice one, also the walking area from the city center to here is very nice and modern(especially at night). If you are in Karlovo definitely you have to check it out.

It's a wonderful place of nature. Great to look at and relax especially on a sunny day. The walk through the park on your way to the waterfall is also very relaxing and enjoyable. Definitely a recommended visit if you are in Karlovo.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in Stara planina. If you visit Karlovo, it is always a good idea to have 15 minutes walk from town center to this waterfall.
