Aleko hut

Outside the hut is a wonderful place for family and children. It’s a pretty relaxing place to be. Except maybe if you’re going by car. Finding a parking spot can be a bit annoying. Otherwise, with the public transport is fine. The hut offers great food and drinks!

The Aleko hut, and its surroundings, is beautiful. We did not sleep there so I don't know anything about the standard of the rooms. The hot chocolate was very good!

Such a cute bar, music was great kinda of remixed evergreen vibe. Hey, soo this was a review for an actual bar 😂 Idk what google did...anyway I do.remomend Aleko, so 5 stars it is.

Twenty minutes drive from Sofia and you are in the middle of Vitosha mountain. The trek for Cherni Vruh starts here and there is always hot tea in the winter for ski lovers or cold hikers.

Amazing breathtaking views. Can be done by hiking but good hiking shoes are advised. Too much to see and experience to describe here. Absolutely must visit.

I was super satisfied with the accommodation, hygiene, the staff and the service overall. Rooms, bathrooms, toilets and dining room are clean and warm in winter at all times. The staff are polite and helpful. Considering food, I've tried only the salad and the chicken soup, and they were both fresh and tasty. Views from the windows are of the forest.
I have only one remark. The pillows were not comfortable for me. I'll surely come again if there's an opportunity.

Just been in the cafeteria. They serve food and soup on the counter. Self service long tables convenient for groups. Reasonably priced.

Very good Food served also outside . Rekomend the burgers

Location is so beautiful, especially in autumn. Close to Sofia, bus service and big parking. Amazing for walks and hikes. Recommend to go in a week day, ad weekends tend to be a little bit crowded.

Price adequate experience.
I was all by myself and I got a single room . The wifi was reaching even to my bed . The window had a wonderful view. The room was warm , only on Monday the heating was switched off , I’m sure you can ask for an electric heater instead.
The food was very good and you could get a warm drink even at midnight and enjoy it next to the fireplace.
The staff is friendly and helpful. You can rent ski equipment right inside the facility.

Great place for skiing, and snowboarding. It offers a wide variety of services linked with the winter sports, and if you are not a sportsperson you can just take some hot chocolate or something to bite from the hut, and just chill while being close to the mountain nature!

Very nice! Self service restaurant, amazing views from the terrace. Prices are quite high, but hey, you are in the mountain so not many options around. People working in the restaurant are polite and nice. Food is delicious! You must try their tripe soup ( shkembe chorba) ! Great outing for small and big :)

Great place for hiking and a day on the mountain, also good food in the hut.

Great place for kids during all seasons. Good for stay, good for starting your hike, good for breakfast or lunch with traditional Bulgarian food. Actually the WiFi is amazing so highly underestimate but amazing for remote workers!
