Razboishte Monastery "Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary"

It's a place where time has stopped. You have to visit it to see this beauty. The nature is breathtaking. Personally it's in my Top3 monasteries in Bulgaria.

Razboishte Monastery is located in hollow. The eco path from Razboiste village is very picturesque with great views of the surroundings. The Nishava river runs nearby.

Can't get enough of this place! So beautiful, no matter the season. A wonderful hike, suitable for children. Simply amazing!

Wonderful place to walk. There are nice picnic areas. The monastery is situated very interestingly in the rocks.

Amazing place. But can be seen only in the summer.

About an hour away from Razboishte on foot. Very pleasant and well marked trail, can be a bit muddy in autumn/winter. The monastery itself is a jewel, however I wish it was sufficiently funded as it seems as if it could do with a bit of renovation and some accommodations for its inhabitants. The visitors are free to leave donations.

There in no easy way to get there (with a car). But the walk was great! Trees everywhere, calm, peaceful and beautiful place! We will go there again soon

Lovely view. Walking to the monastery is path about 1 kilometer long - going down and then up when you are comming back. Passing through a train rail way, you could see a cargo train.
Next to the monastery there are few benches and tables where you could have a nice picnic. A river is flowing near by.
