Restaurant "31st Kilometer"

The restaurant is a great get away stop from busy Sofia. It is easy to find, situated in a green yeard, surrounded by a forest. The food was delicious, as the waitress explain - the owners really care for the quality of food offered and a lot of the menu dishes are made with local products and are homemade. We really enjoyed everything we ordered - soups, meat, salads with amazingly tasteful tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. We really liked the tripe soup, the beans soup with porcini mushrooms. Fast service and friendly personnel. The tables are arranged in a such a way that kids can play freely around, there is also a small playground for them. There is enough parking space. The restaurant offers both the garden and inside tables. They accept card payments and cash...some of the other restaurants in the area do not accept card payements, so mind that before making your choice :) Will come back for sure.

Tarator was amazing! Just order it.

The food is homemade, delicious. We tried the grill salads, homemade fries, bread (omg the homemade bread is a must!),kachamaj(traditional Bulgarian dish). Service is perfect, staff very polite. Definitely stop by if it's on your way.

The most specific thing is that this restaurant is located just in the middle of the road between Sofia and Borovets ski resort, 31km from both places. Big beautiful garden in summer, cozy and warm in winter near the fireplace. Offers typical local cuisine and European.

Топло и уютно местенце. Камината гореше и беше много приятно. Прекрасно обслужване - едно младо момче ни обслужи много вежливо и вкусна храна (чудесен боб). Препоръчвам!
