"Rila" hotel Dupnitsa

This hotel is arguably the best in the city and proved to be an excellent choice for our stay after exploring the Rila Mountains. The price we paid felt quite reasonable for the quality of service and amenities provided.

Our room was perfect, equipped with everything we needed, and impeccably clean. The reception staff were fluent in English and extremely helpful. Although we didn't have time to explore the spa area, it's worth mentioning that it's available for guests.

The hotel also houses a fantastic restaurant, and I highly recommend dining there at least once. Personally, I found the pasta and pizza to be outstanding, although the fish didn't quite meet my expectations.

In the immediate vicinity of the hotel, within a 5-minute walk, you can find everything you need – from supermarkets and pharmacies to shopping opportunities and more.

Friendly staff. Nice hotel, great en suite. Local area is not full of tourists, local bars are close and food is delicious. True Bulgarian experience!

I really liked the hotel. it's right in the center of the city, the rooms are clean and big, the service is great. I have no complaints about the food either.

We had a great time. The room was nice and clean, the SPA was okay, there was an issue with the saunas due to other guests not closing the doors. The best thing tho was the staff, all of the ladies were very polite, positive, cracking jokes and were happy to help.

The city itself is also very nice. They have a lot of stray cats and dogs but they all appeared taken care of and were extremely social and playful.

I would definitely recommend and would love to visit again.

This renovated hotel is at the very heart of Doupnitsa which easily makes it the best place in town.

The Spa Centre is exquisitely furbished, offering a plenty of options for relaxation, and the pool is magnificent with mountain sceneries around it and on the ceiling.

If you add to that the friendly staff and the delectable meals, you will end up with your next travel accommodation.

Helpful stuff willing to explain to you what and how you can enjoy the city and its surroundings. The rooms are clean and renovated with view on the main city square or the Rila mountain. The SPA center is new, modern and spacious enabling full relax and detox :)

Really good service. The reception was very kind with us. I did a mistake when i reserved and took a different day. But they solved it really easy. Breakfast is also really good there

Really good hotel in tiny town Dupnitsa close to many touristic places (park Rila, Rila monastery, 7 Rila lakes, Ovchartsi waterfalls, Sapareva baniya’s Geyser and skiing lines.

Excellent attention, personal is very helpful and kind. Highly recommended. In a great location to visit rila monastery and the 7 lakes.
