We had a great time here! The trail was quite tricky in some places but really really fun and adventurous, making you feel like you were in some fairytale.
Halfway through we were caught in pretty heavy rainfall, but this made it even more fun for us because we were struggling a bit with getting overheated just before and this was great to cool down a bit haha.
Overall it was just a beautiful and fun trail with some amazing views near the end (we did the 6,5 km).

Went hiking with 7y.o, we took the 21 blue route(6km for 3hrs), around 3 km ascending & 3 km descending. Wont get lost because the signposts are just there when we need it.

Hiking shoes are suitable for the terrain, but there were some people who wore casual/running shoes. So yeah, I think it’s still doable for the blue route. But please consider that the terrain is rocky and might be slippery especially after raining.

Nice view & surely a great hiking experience.

Beautiful hike and nature.
Certain areas are being preserved, so there are no walking areas here and there. Hopefully, people will respect this.
So we can keep coming to this beautiful part of Belgium.

The hike here is absolutely amazing. You walk alongside the river, over bridges and planks and you can unleash your inner child. The hike is about 6 kilometres, which might take you up to 2-3 hours, depending on your fitness level or if you bring kids with you, which I would definitely recommend. Children will love this hike and you will surely do too. There is a pub nearby, so you can drink something after your walk to reward yourself. Have fun!

Beautiful park with a nice trail. Also, there are little waterfalls. There is a small parking place at the entrance of the park. So, be on time.

Fun walk, bit rough for when you’re not that fit or trained, but it’s doable.
Be sure to eat before you go there and take some drink and food.
Walk up is rough but afterwards you will have a walk down, which is not hard.
We found some mountain crystals underneath a tree in the ground.

Lovely place for some hiking.

Be sure to check the different difficulty on the panel near the parking. We inadvertently started with 2 boots level and it got challenging for inexperienced walker.

Hiking boots are pretty much required as there are some crossing of the Ninglinspo (one of the few wild river in Belgium). Hiking gloves can be useful as there are some ropes along the way.

Best times are early in the morning or late afternoon.

One of the most beautiful trials in the Ardens I’ve ever came across

Beautiful place with many choices of trails. Can choose different trails according to which view you like and how you feel: walk along River (some parts can be narrow, wet or uneven with rocks), walk along road (flat and easy, can still see river as it is also along river but a bit higher) or walk up to hill (some part is steep or muddy, but view from top is worthwhile!).

When we were there at mid December, some trails near river are closed for letting nature grow back, so we combined different trails and enjoyed different views. Love the variety of colours, white waterfall, brown/black rocks, light green grass, ever green trees and dropped red leaves make it colourful even in winter. A very pleasant journey.

Beautiful trail. Some slippery bits when wet, good shoes are required. Quite popular so might be busy during peak season.

Yellow and blue trails with moderate difficulty. Red one connects other areas for a bigger hiking, one can make blue tack and join it with Chefna. Slightly muddy, but pretty much fun

Gorgeous hike through and along a river. The walk back through the woods was stunning. Come early to enjoy the beauty of this place to its fullest. Recommended! Don't forget to wear hiking boots, walking sticks can also be very useful.

We came from our camping in Bretogne just to come here to hike.
We expected it to be a pretty walk, but it exceeded our expectations. It has a pretty river walk that also has some 'rough terrain' parts, where our dog was a bit scared. We can also imagine that a older person, a diabetic or someone with heart problems might have some difficulties walking this part, so hike responsibly. I do recommend hiking shoes just to prevent yourself from straining your ankles or falling, since this walk was a bit more difficult than expected. After like an hour we went through a pretty forestry part of the mountain where we felt that the scenery and atmosphere changed.
It is quite a hike, so I recommend taking some snacks and plenty of water with you.

Our dog also had his share of fun during the hike, there was during the walk loads of streaming clear river water for him to drink, but when we went upwards, there was less and less water. So if you're taking your four legged friend with you, I recommend filling a bottle of water for him when you're nearing the point of going upwards. There are also some resting points where you can have a small break. I do recommend to take some energy bars with you for the dog too. Our dog was very hungry afterwards and ate some of our oat bars. P.s. we couldn't find trash bins, so if your dog takes a number two and you're picking it up, you're going to be walking with the bag for quite a while.

This walk is absolutely recommended.

Very nice place for hiking. The waterfalls will accompany you in climbing the hill which will make the hike even more relaxing. Different tracks of different lengths exist.

Very nice area for walking and hiking! Beautiful panorama views at the top of the valley. You can either start at the bottom of the river and climb upwards or follow the river downstream. Absolutely worth a visit while in the neighborhood. Ideal for a day trip. Wear steady shoes as the climb is sometimes through the river itself. There are different options in terms of distance. For the full experience choose the 11km or 7km tours.

Cool place.
Not difficult with just sneakers if it’s not rainy.
Yellow path is more difficult and steep on descending.
Blue path is more long but much easier on descending.
On weekends parking is full.

Beautiful place for a great short hike. There are trekking paths to suite kids that can be done in 1 hour to 45 minutes and even up to 3 hour hikes. A small stream flows through for kids to play in the water. The stream forms several mini waterfalls..pic-nic is allowed and the place is not polluted at all. (Please keep it clean be responsible).

Easy downhill mountain bike tracks also available here. Parking is really less for vehicles during weekends and peak times of the year.

I have lost a camera yesterday(01-05-24), a blue fujifilm. The camera itself isn't worth anything but there are lot of valuable pictures on the sd card :( so im posting this hoping somebody found it and wants to reach out. ig: @bert_dekonink

It's a beautiful trail by the way definitely worth the hike, went for the yellow one which takes you to an amazing view (where you can take nice pictures 🥲)

This is an unique mountain stream for Belgium. Great place to walk. Distances around 8km. Do it in nice weather but not during too summer season it is quite touristic.
