Le Sanglier des Ardennes

By far the best Hotel in the area. A luxurious Hotel with great spa facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. The room are fairly spacious and very clean.
4 Restaurants, Japanese, Bistro, Italian and a Michelin star restaurant.
The food is in all restaurants, way beyond perfect and the prices are very reasonable. Too bad the Italian restaurant didn't have the Amarone wine as on the menu available.
All in all..... Absolutely the place to be if your'e going to visit the area.
Even valet parking in front of the entrance.

Wonderful experience in a wonderful place ! Le Sanglier des Ardennes is THE place to be if you're looking for good food, quiet night and five star wellness ! The rooms are perfectly equipped and very comfortable. The breakfast buffet is just amazing and you have the choice between several fine restaurants for lunch and diner. The wellness center is fantastic and the personal is extremely kind and competent. We can't wait for our next visit !

I only went to the wagyu restaurant; ordered wagyu, it was I think the best dish I’ve had.

The meat was perfectly cooked. It just melted in the mouth.
I had béarnaise sauce with it, real home made béarnaise was absolutely delicious.

Fries and salad were good as well.

Amazing stay. We were supposed to stay in a sister hotel (Saint Amour) but the A/C was not working. The Sanglier was there to save rhw day. Both hotels were wonderful and I'm sure we would have enjoyed our stay no matter what. The service was impeccable and the room was wonderful. We arr already planning our return trip.

We took the formula with Bru'sserie and Le Grand Verre, waauw, what an experience.

Everything was good except for the Wagyu on the hot stone . The stone was not hot enough so the meat was broiled instead of seared.

I stay @ hotels often, but this one marks a milestone. Ok the rooms are nice, the amenities top (le parfum de Nathalie) & the restaurants top, but what differentiates is service with a big S. Reception, bell boys, breakfast staff and restaurant staff : all are sincerely friendly and service oriented. One to visit again!

It's not cheap but it is very nice. The staff is very attentive, the rooms are modern and classy. Breakfast varied and of high quality.
In case you come by car they have valet parking.

This was our first time in Durbuy, and we had an excellent stay at Le Sanglier! We're already planning on coming back in 4 weeks.

Overall, the experience was very good. I appreciate the limitless supply of complimentary water in the rooms and on every floor.
Food offering was excellent, the private spa experience as well, and the service of the staff.

A few minor points to mention that would make the experience even better:
- The room is missing a bluetooth speaker. With Covid, the dinner needs to be consumed in your room and it would have been nice to be able to turn on some spotify tunes aside from the commercial radio channels on the TV
- Checkout was very busy and thus quite the wait
- It would've been nice to have a wider selection of teas and more nespresso capsules in the room, to use with the breakfast.

Before Covid, we both used to travel two weeks a month. Eating here was most definitely, and hands down, the best meal since lockdown. If you are doubting between menus, do go for the most courses. It's the kind of food you close your eyes to enjoy!

Excellent hotel with a great personalised service. We travelled with a dog who was welcome and our room was even prepared with a bed for her and goodies to eat. And the restaurant to are as great and staff is as friendly as in the hotel.

Le sanglier des Ardennes Durbuy is really nice and high quality three stars hotel. We had an event here and it was really great: good and tasty food, very good looking and comfortable rooms, the breakfast buffet was great and top notch service. I have no idea about the prices but it was undoubtedly worth it.

We went to the spa for 6h and it was very nice, it's not that big so you feel more familiar. The relaxation massages were good and relaxing and they have a machine in which they cover you with a product and you can easily sleep. Good experience and very recommended👏🏽

Having stayed in 5 stars and leading hotels all over the world I have to say this place merits a top rating in all aspects. Service, rooms, food, ...

Pleasant hotel in a very pretty village. Nice rooms, especially in the old section. Plenty of choice concerning restaurants.
