Le loup gourmand

Myself and 6 friends went to this restaurant in Stavelot in Belgium. I have used it several times when I have been at Spa Francochamps circuit. The food is excellent and the service is second to none despite the language differences. It is a very clean looking restaurant and good value for money. Tip always best to book table as it gets very busy, which in itself speaks volumes.

Delicious food, friendly people. We had a wonderful time here, not a place to be in a hurry although.

Qualitatively superior, regionally rooted and seasonal ingrediences, aptly prepared and delicious, are offered here in a friendly, straight and in every regard light atmosphere, not at least provided by the attentive, calm and well-humoured service. Vegetables and meat dishes are particularly fine here. Located next to Stavelot's historical main street, with a nice view onto the Ancienne Abbaye, in fair weather one is sitting outside, close to passing (motor) bikers, hikers, (local) pedestriants and by-passers of any kind. Basically, it is a dis-stressfully colourful and even meditative place with appropriate vividness. The panoramic view onto the wooded hills of the Ardennes and the strikingly good air contribute to a really calming impact. The restaurant's interior reflects its cuisine: proper, straight and everything but pompous. A delightful site, in- and outside.

Very nice resto - pleasant service, good choice of meat, mussels and wonderful deserts - the Tarte Tantin was a dream - also the steaks were of very good quality - with pleasure again.

Au cœur de la charmante région, niché dans un décor élégant, se trouve le restaurant Le Loup Gourmand. Une oasis culinaire où chaque plat est une invitation à un voyage gustatif exquis. Avec son ambiance chaleureuse et son service attentionné, Le Loup Gourmand offre une expérience gastronomique inoubliable à tous ses convives.

Une cuisine savoureuse et maîtrisée. La carte peut sembler étroite mais elle est à même de satisfaire tous les palais. L'étroitesse des lieux corse la difficulté du service, un peu dépassé par instants, et contribue à une ambiance plus bruyante qu'intîme. L'un dans l'autre, un excellent moment.

Passé manger un couscous le dimanche soir. Bon service. Plat excellent.

Personnel très accueillant et sympathique, très bon produits, rapport qualité prix excellent, intérieur très agréable et très propre. Je conseille fortement.

Une super adresse en plein centre de Stavelot. Plats bien préparés, service aimable et efficace. Nous reviendrons sûrement !

Ouah quel repas, une tuerie, je le recommande vivement si vous passez par STAVELOT ,ou alentours, personnel très sympa , et le chef en cuisine est une dame 😉👍

Nous avons passé un très bon moment.
Cuisine traditionnelle et gourmande très bien exécutée .
Service discret et efficace.

Nous avons très bien mangé, moi un couscous royal exquis et ma femme un pavé de bœuf, cuit exactement comme demandé.
Tout ça accompagné d'une bonne bouteille de vin rouge, avec les conseils du patron très sympathique.
Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés 👍
