Camping Pouhou

As close as you can get to nature, without breaking the law. Stayed 3 days with our tent. Green and spacious. Being able to light a fire a big plus. Amenities basic but clean. Showers cost 1.50 Euros, plentifull hot water. No hot water for sinks. The couple that own the place are very helpfull. Will certainly stay here again when in a mood for a total change of scenery.

Beautiful camping with a river running through, next to a walking route, close to the lovely village La Roche. There is a magical area where you're allowed to make fire in the dedicated spots and the area is stunning next to a running river between hills and forest, with fellow travelers nicely spread out over the field. The shower and bathroom is mediocre but works fine and looks nice. We wanted to cook food in the dedicated firespots but didn't cause we didn't have things to grill and later found out you could simply buy meat at the entrance of the camping which is awesome. The owner was friendly and spoke our native language (Dutch) as well as french.

Beautiful camping ground, clean facilities and friendly service! We had some trouble finding an EV charging point in the area. The owner helped out and gave us a plug where we could charge.

Great space with great owners! You can buy firewood or collect your own. Bathrooms and showers are super clean. A baker comes by in the morning.

One of the best campings in the la roche area. The owner is friendly and takes great care of her guests.
Situated just 3km from La Roche en Ardennes centre and a 10 minute drive to Hotton. Surrounded by woods and is next to a nice creek.

The best nature camping in la roche de ardenne always great to go there with a group of friends and do some trailrunning and mountainbiking on the trails around La Roche.

Great camping also proper wood fires allowed

Cool & calm

Superplek!

Wij hebben een weekendje mogen kamperen op deze prettige camping. We hadden een vriendelijk onthaal. Op een fijn, open veld gelegen aan een beekje mochten wij zelf ons plekje uitzoeken. Uiteraard kozen we voor een van de vele plekjes bij een vuurpit. De sfeer op de camping was gemoedelijk, wel veel gezinnen met kinderen. Als je hiet niet op zit te wachten raad ik aan verder te zoeken. Sanitair was schoon, niks mis mee. Wel eigen toiletpapier meenemen.

Endroit calme, beaux et reposant.
Les gens du camping sont accueillant et l'endroit vraiment beaux, feux de camps et chien (en laisse) admis gratuitement !
Y étant allé hors saison (mis septembre) ma compagne et moi avons eu la chance d'avoir la prairie des tentes de passage pour nous tout seul
Douche avec vraiment de l'eau chaude (système de jeton 1,5€ pour 4min)
Prix (basse saiqon) une tente, deux personne, deux chien, deux nuit, taxe communale comprise 44€
Ce qui est sûre c'est que nous y retournerons !

Na een nare ervaring (bij aankomst) met de eigenaars van nabijgelegen camping Beau Reve, waren we welkom op camping Pouhou.
Een plaats zoals een camping hoort te zijn: menselijk, vriendelijk, flexibel, behulpzaam. Een fijn weekend gehad op een rustig veldje naast de rivier ♥

Très beau camping au calme et traversé par une rivière. Les sanitaires et douches sont très propres. Nous avons logé à la hutte Africa qui a ravi nos 2 enfants de 7 ans.

Un accueil chaleureux dans un endroit dépaysant. Les propriétaires nous on donner de bons conseils pour les balades et restaurants dans le coin.
Ça fait plaisir de se réveiller avec le chant des oiseaux et pleines nature. Les communs sont nickel à tout heure.
C est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons chez eux
