Nice park to spend a bit of time at a sunny weekend, children playgrounds available, small lake.

A very easily accessible by public transport or with car ( just 30 mins) , this a very nice few hours excursion or even a full day trip for kids and adults . Kids have several activities which are reasonably charged . Paddle or rowing boats can be hired for 30 mins for 5 euros upto 5 ppl for paddle . It’s a wonderful little lake and kids enjoy thoroughly boating through it. A well equipped play area free as well as charged ( trampoline etc) or you can enjoy a toy train 40 min journey ( every 1 Hr) for as low as 1.50 euros . It is a very scenic journey through forest which all will enjoy . Free & clean toilet facilities . Entrance fee to park is 4 euro for adult 1.50 for kids , below 3 are free . Many farm animals like hence ducks peacock goats & horses can be seen in enclosures . Decent choice of restaurants or many picnic benches . A must visit place if you are looking for a low budget yet great nature & fun mix experience with kids . De Lijn & S trains are well connected and stop is just outside the park .

This is our favorite park ever! It’s always well maintained, beautiful territory, amazing playgrounds (there are two of them), little farm and bird houses. It’s free from October to March (which is still good and not crowded) but during the summer time it’s definitely worth to visit for a small admission price.
Big and beautiful territory to have a walk and a good restaurant nearby. Gorgeous garden. Perfect for a family day out

Magnificent, clean lots of games for all family members, a small enclosure with animals. Restaurant and brassiere, mini golf…. and a beautiful park. A small entrance fee is requested at the entrance and the parking lot is free. Highly recommend

Very beautiful park with numerous activities both for grownups and kids. Playgrounds are beyond the average swing/slide combination and plenty of place for parents to sit and enjoy whilst keeping an eye on the children playing. The swimming pool is clean and offer a variety of pools depending on the age and swimming skills, including waterslides. Recommended for day trip with picnic or snack at one of the terraces on the domain.

I like the Domain Huizingen because it is easily accessible from the motorway, there is a large parking, it is well maintained, I love the animals (bambis, sheep, goats, etc). You can buy food there and there is a restaurant too. The entrance is free from early October till the end of April.

Great park
You can ride a boat ( closed due to the outbreak).
There is a mini zoo, swimming pool, a train ( you can take to explore the park ).
It is good for walking, picnicking, taking photos.
The view is very beautiful.
The park is maintained correctly. There is no trash.

This park is worth your time.

So beautiful, especially on a quiet, sunny day in the winter. The gardens are beautiful all year round. Most things were closed when I went (pool, etc.) but it was still worth the cycle from Brussels! Recommended.

Really good 👌. Its my local park. You can go 4 free if you're a local. They have a outdoor swimming pool and 2 big playgrounds for children to play in. There yearly traditional party when its really cold in the winter ( putteke winter ) is really amazing. There is nothing like it anywhere in the world.

Zero entrance if you're a Beerselaar...other fun things for kids at reasonable costs and some stuff to eat here and there!

Autumn happiness. A large, beautifully maintained park and Chateau. From October, free entry to the park with farm animals. And a wonderful forest, with kids tracks and fabulous play areas.

I love it. Under the week from 18h there is really nobody anymore and you can enjoy a relaxing troll through this beautiful parc. Lots of cute animals, nice flora and fauna. Lots of beautiful playgrounds for kids of different ages. There are two eateries. Lots of toilets which are acceptable. We'll definitely continue visiting. I recommend it . Keep away on weekends too many people.

Very nice and huge park with many activities, especially in Summer. It's free during the winter and there are way less people. There are many animals and plants, it's beautiful !
Perfect for kids.

Very nice place. We spent a very pleasant sunny afternoon. It is free in March. A big domain, with plenty of facilities and options despite covid situation.

A secret jewel very close to Brussels. Nice day for all ages. Quiet walking path. Didn't find any pheasants, though.

Lots of activities to do with the kids. Mini cars for the kids, a train that goes around the domain, 2 huge playgrounds, a restaurant and a cafeteria, jumping pad and a carrousel. There are also animals to pet and a swimming which is closed for the time being.
