Fantastically preserved stretch of coastal defences from WW1 and WW2, brilliantly presented attraction and very informative audio guide in a variety of languages. Allow 2-3 hours to fully understand the history and story of this place. Entry is €10 and includes the audio guide 👍

Very nice walk through the old bunkers of the Atlantikwall Raversyde. Everything was well reconstituted and very interesting. Audio description available in several languages.
We walked a lot through the old tunnels and the dunes. It was a unique experience. I definitely recommend it!

It's amazing to see a real history in our times. Germans did a great job to protect the coast. Everything is done thoroughly, capitally, as Germans do.

This open-air museum is definitely recommended, it takes you through the whole world war 1 and world war 2 story.
You are swept along in the interactive tour and you empathize with the experiences that German soldiers had to deal with, the pressure and how the Allies entered.

It is definitely recommended if you want to experience this in person.
There is no toilet available during your visit in the open air, so it is recommended to schedule a toilet visit in advance.
It is also difficult to visit for people with wheelchairs or people with walking difficulties because of all the stairs.

Despite everything, definitely recommended!
You can easily spend a few hours there, so don't expect to complete the visit within half an hour, this is only positive.

Keep it up!

Nice open museum, with a lot to experience. A lot of tunels and bunkars with quite some history.

Of all the things I saw in Flanders this was the most breathtaking. It’s an open air museum. The audio guide has maps, descriptions in each section or the Tour and feeds the visitor with suggestions and information as we walk along the routes.
Highly recommended visit for those studying WWI and WWII and for everyone who forgot that wars bring suffering and misery.

It is just breathtaking museum! So many authentic exibits. You can watch, touch, listen, walk...The audio guide has descriptions , photos or audio records for each section of the tour . After this exibition your understanding about WWI and WWII changes 180°. Highly recommend to visit such incredible exibition! Don't be late, because last visitors are admitted strictly at 16:00.

A Great preserved piece of the Atlantik Wall! The Würzburg radar is the first impression of what u are going to see, the Bunker system is very impressive! There are 2 Pak40 cannons to see and a couple of flaks! The bunkers are set up with museum set ups with original stuff and uniforms to feel the athmosphere of the place, they even have boxes with odours, to make u feel the place even more.. Great place, one of the better museums, the size of it! Thanks!

Awesome place to visit. The weather was really nice so that was a great bonus since half the tour was outside. Everything was taken care of very well with a very informative audio tour. The tour itself was about 1.30h/2h max if you really take your time. There was lots of information on display in all 4 languages (NL/ENG/FR/DE). Overall the staff members were also very friendly and passionate about every visitor. There was certainly no lack of smiles and friendliness, helpfulness and joy. Hats off to the staff for maintaining this site so well. A must see if the pictures spark interest!

Super interesting and we'll worth it but if you want to see it properly better take 3 hours rather then the 2 most people say.

This is very good. The site was used in both World Wars. Friendly staff. There are lockers for your bags. The site is quite large and allow at least 1h30 for your visit. Everything is well preserved and the audio guide is very good and useful. Very interesting display outside of panoramic photos of the coast taken in Summer 1945. The tram stops right outside.

Certainly worth the visit if you are in the area. The audio guide did provide a lot of information. The duration of the visit would normally take a couple of hours and kids have a lot to see and run along the long corridors. The place is not suitable for children buggies.

Great open air museum to discover on your own. Plan at least 2-3 hours of visit. The audio guide gives you the freedom to explore all by yourself. The museum is well done and very accurate. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Insider: the museum covers ww1 and ww2.
