Darcis Chocolatier - Verviers

A marvellous place for chocolates lovers. If you adore chocolates then this is the place you must visit. Here you can also visit a Chocolate Museum with splendid information over chocolate making history. You can also see inside view of factory , how actually they are making chocolates. And at the end you can enjoy food, sandwiches, cake, pastry, ice-cream and much more. They have a fantastic dine-in area. For sure you can buy also to take out. There is no limit choices of chocolates and other stuff. You must make sure to have minimum 3hrs to enjoy this chocolate factory and shop.

Christmas - apart from kilos of Dutch cheese, the best brand of Belgian pralines and Christmas chocolate. Plus - breakfast :)

We visited the museum after we noticed it at the visit Wallonia pass. It is a lovely museum, with a great audio guide (available in different languages) and a very nice extra of chocolates to taste during the visit.
We enjoyed it a lot!

Before we started our tour through the museum we sat down at the cafe. The coffee is great and the service super fast!

Afterwards we walked through the shop and bought some goodies for at home. The chocolate is the best I ever tasted. The quality is extraordinary and after visiting the museum, you know exactly where it comes from and where the sources are. Simply perfect.

Very cure accurate and well explained museum for families. You will get personal audio guide and 3 chocolate for each participant. There is also a great coffee bar. Very recommended! The tour take 45 min and its really interesting and not too long.

I highly recommend the chocolate museum at La Chocolaterie Darcis. You get three chocolate pralies when you start and eating them is part of the exhibition. The museum is new and updated, and teaches you about the history of chocolate. the varieties of cacao and why Belgium is a chocolate country. Worth the detour to Verviers to see it.

Excellent description of chocolate history and its production. Small museum, but eqipped in very modern way, easy to follow with audioguide. In the building the factory boutique and café are also located. Highly recommended. 😀😀😀

Good chocolate tasting experience. Enjoyed the interactive tour. Good cafe and chocolate shop too! Easy parking behind the building for free on a Friday morning. The dark chocolate is really good. Be careful though, it melts very quickly. Amazingly rich taste!

Chocolatier Darcis is very interesting. We learned more about the history of making chocolate and how origins began. They guide you through a path of ages and there is a little surprise through the guide. More you'll have to find out yourself!

Very nice chocolate museum including a small factory. Also possible to have lunch. Top attraction in verviers!

Lovely visit. Such an interesting museum, which was interactive. Chocolate samples and the smell was STUNNING. Enjoyed the Chocolate shop and purchased some treats and finished with a coffee in the café afterwards. The best part of Verviers for sure .

Very educational museum and a nice tearoom. Definitely worth visiting. Multiple languages available for the audiotour and a perfect "Bean to Bar" establishment for the chocoholics. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will recommend it to others.

5 of us visited. All enjoyed a different dessert snack and beverages. All were delicious. Also enjoyed the museum. Learned the history of Chocolate.

Excellent..... I came here to do a course for a day which was given by the legend himself " MR Darcis, must I say a down to earth, nice guy who provided many pointers for the concerned class and the whole experience was very pleasant.

Ofcourse you dont leave the place without giving into the chocolate temptations at the pattiserie......in short just excellent...in choices and quality.
