Brewery Timmermans NV

I've visited the brewery during Toer de Gueuze. I had the pleasure to see the beer being fermented in the Koelschip. The place has a lot of history, being one of the oldest lambic producers. Their tradicional gueuze is delicious.

THE UNIQUE BEER Timmermans has kept the tradition of the true lambic alive for over 300 years now. This unique beer, made with 30% wheat, is brewed in Itterbeek, in the oldest active lambic brewery. ... This is why a true lambic is brewed only within a 15 km radius of Brussels, in the area known as Pajottenland.

Authentic brewhouse in the Zenne area. Owned by John Martin but very well preserved and still active. Try the 'Bourgogne de Flandre !

Brouwerij Besichtigung mit Die PARTEI. Sehr interessante und kompetente Führung durch die Räume der Brouwerij. Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen. Das Lambic Bier etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig aber auch interessant, wer mal was Neues ausprobieren möchte. Prost!
