The oldest school of entire bengal. Established at 1835.Located at the roundabout of Sadarghat near Jagganat University. Hold many records including being the only school stood first in entrance exam consecutively for 8 years in the headmastership of Babu Ratna Manik Gupto. There is a stone tablet about it. Many scholars, scientists, politicians, well known businessman are the product of this scool. The school compound is small. There are only there building. The recent results of the school is not pleasing. The school committee and the teachers should be more active and agile to bring back the glory and proud of this century old school.
