Gendaria Jame Masjid

It is the most old mosque in Gandaria Area. It was build in 1956. After 2 or 3 modification it’s now look like this... It has also a Hafizia Madrasa. About 200+ students read here.. This masque has the old building. A new building made covering the old one.. The new building is three stored.. At time of Salah, Many people came here to pray.. On Friday, about 1000+ people came here for Jummah. I love this mosque. I was click this pictures on Friday 11th February 2022😊.

Gonna miss the classic look and infrastructure of this mashjid cause authority decided to remake it after decades. I wish mashjids planned design could be a classical look so that our upcoming generation will be able to know about our culture instead of make a modern mashjid plan. So sad.

Beautiful mosque.

I used to pray namaj here since I was a boy of 12+. Every jumma (Friday) I reach the mosque so earlier so that I can take seat in the ground floor balcony, to where I can see the imam and the sunlight reach to me. A leafy tree, most probably gate tree was inside the main gate, I sometime used to seat there, I don't know the place 8s still the same or not, as I live another area now and can't take jumma or other namaj due to my job hours. One of the biggest mosque on the area, called Gandaria Jame Masjid. The oldest imam has been died long ago, he used to lead the prayers then, now there is a young imam, once he sometimes leads, his voice is too appreciated by me. In general, the ground floor can't be filled up but in the jumma, every corner becomes housefull. The 2nd floor was occupied by the teens and children, crowd making. A very big orphanage is situated here also.

Every Wednesday tafseer mahfil by Mufti Abu Saeed saheb DB. He also conducts Jumaa every third Friday of Isaee month. Nice masjid.

This place is awesome. Before this area name was grand area. This area is awesome line ancient Palace..

Comfortable for prayer have upgraded Madras and educated Mawlana muajjin two floor coverage by aircondition nice atmosphere.
