Uttara Export Processing Zone (UEPZ) (Bengali: উত্তরা রপ্তানি প্রক্রিয়াকরণ অঞ্চল), also known as Uttara EPZ or Nilphamari EPZ, is the seventh of the eight export processing zone in Bangladesh located at Nilphamari. It's the only export processing zone of Rangpur division/ north Bengal. It was established in September 2001on about 213,66 acres of lands in Sangloshi area in Nilphamari town.

There are more than 180 industrial plots in this EPZ. Allocation of 138 plots has been completed. 12 plots are running. 33 plots undeveloped and 09 plots are empty.

One of the finest EPZ in Bangladesh. Very good environment for the factory workers and employer's. There are no standard restaurant inside or nearest of the EPZ area. As well no suitable hotels within a kilometer.

Hygienic working condition and environment friendly, improving lives of thousands of people of North Bengal region. What it needs is good transportation facilities to the port for produced goods.

Excellent Economic Zone there are 18 various types of company established year. It's a nice place for all the foreigners to invest in Bangladesh. The security is excellent, environment is excellent. There are banking facilities like Dutch Bangla, HSBC and there is a rest house also. The road is very nice and wide. It is actually a great economic zone and it reduces the unemployment problems of nilphamari as well as the northern part of Bangladesh. So it makes a great economic role in Bangladesh's economy.
