People from Chuadanga, Damurhuda, Meherpur, and others use this station for their daily commute. Businessman, rural people, and others give their first priority to the train service over the bus. But the station environment not much good for passengers. The condition of First class and Second class waiting room is miserable.
Authority should have taken the initiative to modernize the station.

Chuadanga Railway Station is a railway station on the Darshan Kushtia railway station in Chuadanga District, Bangladesh. It is the station between the Jayanagar and Mominpur railway stations. It is located about 6 km northeast of the Transit Point Darshan junction, and about 3 km southwest of Kushtia. Chuadanga Station was opened in 12th. The station serves the city of Chuadanga and its surrounding area by two rail lines and two platforms.

In 1859, when the Eastern Bengal Railway Company started construction of a broad gauge 5' 4" single track from Kolkata-Kushtia (Jagti), the construction of Chuadanga station began in the same year and was completed in 1860. On 15 November 1862, Calcutta-Kushtia (Jagti) ) Chuadanga railway station started operations as the first railway station in East Bengal (Bangladesh) with the start of train service. It was the first and only two-platform railway station in East Bengal (Bangladesh) at that time. At the same time, Chuadanga railway station was located next to Chuadanga railway station in Bangladesh to supply water to the train engines. The first overhead tank and a footover bridge in Bangladesh were constructed for the passengers of the station.From 15 November 1862 till date, Chuadanga Railway Station has been serving the people of Chuadanga city and its neighboring areas of Meherpur and Jhenaidah through two rail lines and two platforms.

In 1947, the railway communication of Bengal province was damaged for the partition of India. During British rule in undivided India, there were regular overnight trains between Kolkata, Goland, Dhaka and Narayanganj. After the partition of India, three trains - East Bengal Mail, East Bengal Express and Barisal Express - operated between the two countries till 1965.

The platform is higher than any other stations 🚉 in Bangladesh 🇧🇩 which almost reaches to the train doors. It’s so comfortable to hope in the train by the platform. Neat and tidy place.

One of the oldest railway stations of Southern Region.. thousands of people come here everyday..All InterCity trains, that travels this part of the country, have stoppage here. Very near to main town having good communication through rikshaw, easy-bike, etc..Looks busy when train arrives & departures, other time remains calm & quiet.

Best service but tickets manage is too hard
