This restaurant is situated near old Dhaka and famous for Bangla foods like different kind of Vorta, vegetables etc. They are likely to serve a lots of items at once and one can choose their favourite ones. Their food tastes good and service was satisfactory. Their overall environment could be much better though!

In a few words, Nirob Hotel is one of the oldest bangla food restaurant in old Dhaka, which offers various options of bharta, bhaji, and bangla foods. The hotel has two storied and air 1st floor has air conditioned cabin where 40 people can sit and take food at a time. Also, the non air conditioned area of 1st floor and ground floor have around 100 people capacity to sit at a time. We had 21 items while our visit today, and all foods are delicious. Those who used to take less spicy and less salty food items at home usually may experience a little bit spicy and salty food there. The bharta items are too good. You can find dal bharta, potato bharata, banana bharta, shutki bharta, gourd shell bharta, tomato bharta, eggplant bharta, fried fish, spicy beef, shrimp kari, red vegetable, green vegetable items and tea etc. All items were yummy and delicious.

This is the best place to have meal in morning and lunch time. if know the word 'ভোজন' you should go there at last one time in life. if you go anytime in Old Dhaka you should go there and have meal. you will get total value of your money. This hotel mostly crowded by the students and local people. you will have a great time with good food in there. There food is really very good to eat.

It is one of the oldest and most famous restaurants on Nazimuddin Road. The restaurant remains almost always crowded. Lots of students come here to eat and drink. The restaurant is famous for their various curries and mashed bhaji. Nihari, kalavuna, chicken soup, purivhaji, bread and wonderful testy tea .. these are the main attractions of the restaurant for breakfast. The quality of the food here is very good and delicious. Food prices are also reasonable.

If you are looking for great deal of Vorta & Vaji the signature food of common mass People of Bangladesh, then this is a must visit restaurant. Quality and quantity of the food is worth every penny.

The Nehari and porota reminded me of olds days, it brought back fresh memories of late 90 and early 20s

At lunch time they have a few dozen Bhorta, all taste very good. It's their speciality. They also have meat curries which are also excellent but often unnoticed for the bhortas.

They serve fantastic food at a low price with a wonderful atmosphere.

If you are thinking of good local foods if varieties of varta and fish this is only popular destination in the Dhaka city that is located in old Dhaka near to old central jail. But you should be Desi food lovers. More that 20 types (varied on season and availability), dried fish varta, fish 🐠 fry, local tasty fish, kala vuna etc. Available in reasonable price. Nice seat allocations for Freund's and family entertainment with AC and non Ac arrangements. Sorry no parking 🅿 available. Little bit crowded. Mau have to wait in lunch pick time.10 mins from Chan khar pool or Dhaka medical college. 5 min away from chawkbazar. Simply love it and proud of our old Dhaka.

Nirob hotel is one of the best place in puran dhaka to have a great lunch. If you're craving for vorta, i mean a lot of vorta and all, nirob hotel is your place. They have opened another place upstairs, so now you can go and have dinner with your big group. I loved the food, the taste is great. Good behaviour as well. The owner is very friendly. Recommended.

A legendary hotel at Nazimuddin Road, at old town of dhaka with almost hundreds of years of history for Bangladeshi cousin. The food is of excellent taste and quality and cheaper in price range.

Nice place but price is high now a days.

The place is in old Dhaka so do not expect well decorations etc. Food quality is good. Taste is good. Not something superbly extra ordinary. Still you can enjoy an old school dinner any day. Appropriate for friendly groups, not so much for family.
