'Runmoy' is the most beautiful resort of Sajek valley, located in this picturesque valley, surrounded by mountains & clouds, run by Bangladesh army. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset from this resort.
It can be levelled as a cottage, rather than a resort. There are only 5 rooms in this resort. All rooms are well-maintained and equipped with modern amenities. Pre booking is mandetory.
There is no swimming pool or restaurant. But light snacks with tea/ coffee can be served.
The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They are always happy to go the extra mile to ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The chirping birds, rustle of leaves in a quite & calm environment rejuvenate your body & soul.

This is the best resort in Sajek. Booking here is not very easy. They have four rooms in total so try to book well in advance. Of the two rooms on 1st floors, one is Suryaday and the other is Suryaast. Sunrise can be seen from one room and sunset from the other. Overall I like this resort very much.

Amazing place to stay with the best view in Sajek and a bunch of cordial, well behaved staffs and spacious rooms. Their food is also very good and fresh. This resort is well managed by Bangladesh Army.
One thing that seemed ridiculous is that they provide toothbrush, shampoo, etc. only for one person per room though there are more guests. While I inquired the staff in charge informed that this is the authority’s instruction.
The most exciting thing was the attitude and behaviour of the staffs. Each and everyone was very polite, cordial and helpful. They try their best to satisfy the guests.

It's a Wonder on Earth. Khagrachori to Sajek route is full of scenic beauty but last 3 km was a bit tough to drive but we enjoyed to the fullest. A fantastic place to visit with friends and family.

If you want to stay safe and enjoy all the facilities this is the best place. The rooms are spacious and if required you can also add extra bed for your kids/ family members. During day you’ll get solar power and evening there is generator facility. You can charge your smartphone during this time. The food is very good. The staffs are very polite and cordial. There are plenty of space at the back where you or the kids can have fun. At night the environment is very pleasant. You can enjoy the stars and gossip. Best for the couple to chat far from the city.

Best resort in Sajek. You can enjoy all facilities here. Compared to the other resorts price is little higher. Food quality is very good. Stuff behavior is good. You can use the solar power 24/7. And especially for a nice natural view, this resort is highly recommended.

Runmoy Resort is Army Owned resort in Sajek valley. Though their service is good but still very expensive comparing to the other good looking Resort. But the Atmosphere and views of the hills from this spot are outstanding.. Helipads are very near from this spot which is making this spot more ornamental.. Nice place to hang around with family and friends..

Undoubtedly the best resort in Sajek Valley in comparison to location, view, quality, service and beauty. The scenic beauty is astonishing on both sides, at the front as well as at the back. Nicely shaped resort with only 5 rooms there- 3 in the ground floor and 2 on the 1st floor.

This resort is maintain by Bangladesh Army. This is very beautiful resort in sajek. It's outlook and inside look are really amazing. It is one of the luxurious resort in sajek. Staff behavior is really well. But here rent is too high. But you can enjoy very good facilities.

What a beautiful place it is!! This is probably the best resort in the country after Nilgiri that mid-range income people can afford to stay. The tents are good to stay too. Though the shared toilets for the tents are a bit messy, not dirty though. The restaurant has very limited options of food, may be because of lack of supply of live stocks from down. However, a variety could still be brought. The magnificent view from the resort is unparalleled. A highly recommended place for family or friends outing. Booking needs to be done by a defense person in the family and it needs to be done well in advance to avoid disappointment. No civilian can make the booking.

Electricity is not at all consistent at Sajek. Charging mobile is a big challenge. So I suggest to take charged up power bank.

It's quite dark at night due to lack of electricity and street light. A torch would be useful

Right now modifications is going on. Checked the room, quite big in size. Main point of scenery is very nice. Cloud touches you if the sky is cloudy very nicely rather than any other resorts.

This resort is pretty. There name is based on Lusai name. This resort is operated by Bangladesh army. It is hill area, but there are private electricity system for 6-8 hours per day. This is most one which is attractive for tourist to stay destination.

The Sajek valley of Sajek union, 60 km from Baghaichhari upazila of Rangamati district, is situated about 1750 feet above sea level. Steep slopes on either side of the ribbon-shaped valley. When you look down, you can see clouds gathering on the hill. There are six mouzas in the entire 40 km long Sajek valley. His first is Ruilui. The Sajek River and the hills of Mizoram in India will catch your eye. Three resorts have been set up in Ruilui at the initiative of the army. These are Sajek, Runmoy and Jharbuj. The luxurious Sajek and Runmoy resorts have five rooms each. In addition, there are 16 more private resorts.

How to get there: Even if Rangamati falls within the district, tourists from Dhaka or Chittagong have to come to Khagrachhari to reach Saje. If you want to come to Sajek from Khagrachhari, you can rent a jeep. It will take two to three hours. If you want to come to Rangamati, you have to cross Kaptai Lake and come to Baghaichhari Sadar first. It takes about two hours to reach Sajek from here.

To reach Ruilui Valley, tourists must reach Baghaihat in Sajek at 10.30 am or 3 pm. At these two times of the day, tourist vehicles come to Ruilui Valley under the watch of the army. From Baghaihat to Ruilui you will see Jhumkhet, Kamalabagan and small hilly machanghars attached to the hill. Ruiluipara has the opportunity to see the life of Lusai, Pankhoa and Tripura. However, tourists should refrain from such degrading behavior for the locals.
