Best place for tehari in Dhaka City. Very much tasty and delicious. Beef tehari is a classic dish popular in parts of Bangladesh. It’s a dish that is composed of rice and beef. The beef is cooked with mainly garam masala spices and yogurt. These spices give the beef a nice pungent flavor.

The oldest part of Dhaka city always famous for variety of food, specially the "Mughlai" type. Hazir Biriani (Biryani) is the top of all time favourite. Earlier there were a single branch in Kazi Alauddin Road but now they have few more ln Motijheet, Banani Bazar & some other places. Specially of this is using mustard oil & amount of meat served in jackfruit leaves made plate.
Hazir biryani was our "celebration" food though now a days have many other to Sultan Dine, Kacchi Bhai, Nayan Biriani, Al Razzak etc.

Authentic Taste of hajji Biriyani cant be found anywhere but here. It was worth all the travel for this delicious recipe although they should redecorate their place its too small these days.

This biriyani place is my favourite. There is something about the rice that has a bery different fragrance than other biriyani places. It is the original Haji Biriyani and they have no other branch. It is so famous that people need to stay in line for a table. Although you can take a parcel immediately. The packaging is so organic. The service is good. They are friendly and helpful. Plan ahead if you want to come here. The price is alright compared to the quantity but the quality is worth it. Biriyani lovers must try this once in life.

Very crowdy place. This place never sleeps. Very difficult to park or drive a car here on the roads. Roads are narrow. But the food is tasty and traditional.

Actually the food quality is good. But the quality before and now has been dropped . This is a very crowded area .
Take time to serve food because there was a long line. After all trediational food is traditional food. Best experience 😄 .

Went there to taste original Haji Biriyani.
Rating 8/10. If i give an honest review, i would like to say that It taste like others biriyani as well. Not so much speciality there.
Very short place & too much people entered at a time. This place give us an old vibe which was interesting.

Food awesome. Renowned name in the old Dhaka, since long they providing service. Space is too small. Most of the time waiting when another chair/table release. Hope It'll be solved in future.

If u love authentic biriyani with less masala, more taste of the beef with perfect ratio of oil and salt . Try it but it will cost u a bit in aspect of the portion served.

It is very old and traditional biriyani house in old town, very tasty and yummy .. over crowed. People wait there to get seat. Reasonable price.. you need to just try this. There are few with the same name but this is the only one Haji Biriani.

Hazir biriani one of most famous food studio in puran dhaka. From September 2023 they open they 2nd shop in Lokkhipur, dhaka.

The restaurant also sells borhani.
This is not just a biriyani place. It's a historic place as well.  In 1939 the restaurant was started as a roadside food corner by a person named Haji Mohammad Hossain. Later on the business took dramatic change and became part of the culture of Dhaka city.
Now people from far come here just to taste this biriyani every day.
There has been no change of taste since it started.
They continued the tradition of selling biriyani in leaf.
The price now is 220 taka per plate.

Best and famous biriyani of Bangladesh.Mutton biriyani tastes so good and delicious.It’s our traditional and cultural food.Very busy place.You are lucky if you have it.But their service should be improved as their publicity.There are few people of Dhaka whom never heard about the famous Haji biriyani at najira bazar

Their food is very tasty. But they need better service and need a better place

It's one of the renowned biriyani places in Dhaka. They don't have much sitting arrangement though. You have to wait in the queue for your turn. But it worth the wait.
