The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Bangladesh

Another popular destination for coffee enthusiasts. Their coffee is okay, but some of the menu items are too expensive considering their serving portion. However, the interior design is cozy and the seating arrangement is comfortable.

I never thought their food items were this tasty before I tried 😃.

The Coffee Bean and Tea leaf an USA franchise started their journey in Bangladesh around 7 years back. Has 2 outlet one in Gulshan and another in Dhanmondi. Most of the time I have been to their Gulshan outlet and few days back I had a meeting with a foreign client so we had lunch there and I am quite surprised and happy to found out their food tastes really delicious. Got to know Coffee Bean BD has recently renovated both their outlets and trying their best to improve. Both their outlets has a huge seating capacity including a meeting room and cozy ambience. Definitely recommend for meeting, and of course their food 😀.

➡ Items we tried there:
1⃣ Tuna Wrap: 560+
- A flat pita bread with tuna mixture with some cucumber and tomato inside. Has proper seasoning, not too spicy and a very good one for fish lovers. Comes with some fries and fresh garden salad on side. Tastes really yum 😋.

2⃣ Smoke Salmon Sandwich: 710+
- A big size toasted Focaccia bread with smoked salmon slices, slices of boiled egg, a sweet & tangy dressing and onion in the middle. Also comes with garden salad on side. Loved it ❤

3⃣ Chicken Mushroom Pasta: 620+
- Properly cooked fusilli pasta with generous amount of chicken slices and shiitake mushrooms. Cooked with bechamel/white sauce. It was little bland for me that I had to ask for pepper.

4⃣ Ice-blanded Nutella Hazelnut: 380+
- They suggested this drink as they have recently introduced it to the menu, made with crushed ice, milk, Hazelnut and nutella. Tastes unique and good.

5⃣ Caffe Latte (small): 280+
- Not the best latte I tried but ok.

This place offers really good coffee, but at a hefty cost. I love their Caramel Macchiato but this small thing is almost 400 tk. So yeah, not at all pocket friendly, but surely can be a treat to oneself once in a while.

Its a coffee place. I like their interior. Tried their coconut shake and it was amazing. Fidnt like the strawberry though. Their desserts are mouth watering. They serve breakfast as well with a wide range of dishes to choose from. Ypu can also get coffee beans and thermal mug over here to buy. Overall the place is really nice along with a smoking zone.

Their hospitality, food, and atmosphere are topnotch. The price of their food item is high but they try to maintain a high standard.

Best blueberry cheese cake in town 🥰🥰🥰 The branch in Dhanmondi of CBTL is small but here they have all I need, the nicely blended drink (I recommend "The Ultimate") and Iced Swedish Berry Tea 😇

The shop interior is also nice and gives you a cosy and warm feeling 😇

loved this place and decoration, coffee was good and so was the cake... 🤗

can enjoy some quality time there, quiet and good, back ground music playing over, it is not boring i bet you!!! ☺

In one word I would like to say that this place is for classy type people. Not that budget friendly, but better place to invite special person to meet. I would personally recommend Chicago cheese cake from dessert & varities type of tea with elegant test & fragnance.

Food is tasty. Cream of mushroom is a must have item, coffe is good. Don’t know abouth tea though.

Update : after some years, the food quality degraded miserably. People.are.still very cordial. It is sad to see one of the favourites falling down. 😔

Love their hot vanilla

The ambience is nice with a open smoke zone. The staff are well behaved and humble. Here, I had One of the best espresso I ever tried. Coffee quality is amazing. Although they don't have much desert and snack options.
Good place to hang out with friends. There are no charging ports. So, working for a long time is a not advisable.

My friends and I frequent this place because of how spacious it is and the coffee is great. It's not usually crowded and the smoking zone is in a great spot. The bathroom is always clean and the staff behavior is excellent and friendly.

Good interior, a bit expensive but the foods are delicious.

The place is amazing. A book, with a cup of coffee ☕ .
If you are a book lover and also a coffee lover, you can go there.

The coffee tasted really good. I loved the place. Interior is beautiful.

One of the best place for coffee. They have a open zone for smokers too. Basic brunch or light items are available. The ambience and staff is good. A bit high cost for food items.
