This is a beautiful place to hangout with friends or watch natural beauty. Balashighat is one of the most important connection points gor the city of Gaibandha to the other parts of the country like Dhaka. Previously it was used to be a naval port for transporting goods in massive scale.

This is a beautiful place. But people doing moil this place by throwing wastage bottle and poly bag. This is also named as “Balashi Launch Ghat”.

Its a Ferry Ghat. Beautiful place for spend few quality time.

It was a very pleasant experience the weather was awesome a must visit place for people who love to love rivers and boat rides the Transportation system is a bit tricky I mean you have to go there by easybikes mostly but the trip is worth it once you get there we rented a boat for half an hour it costs about 300 taka I will definitely visit this place again

A mind refreshing place situated outside the city.Ideal place for hangouts with friends and family.People used to visit this place occasionally.It connects Gaibandha with Jamalpur district.Though Steamers are abandoned here fishing boats and small cargo ships are seen here.

Balasighat to Dewanganj by boat. Its really risk journey. Did not improve much. Side scene are beautiful. Takes 2 hrs journey. Need Ferry service.

Balashi Ghat (বালাসী ঘাট) is one of the most beautiful tourist spots of Gaibandha District.It stands beside the bank of Jamuna River and is not very far from Gaibandha Sadar Upazila. At the beginning of 2004, steamers were banned from this place. Although, trawlers & boats are available for traveling. It has built a connection with the southern districts  of Jamalpur.

As a result of erosion, everyday many parts of this Ghat are drowning under the river. A huge crowd comes to Balashi Ghat to enjoy its stunning natural beauty.
