Madhabpur Bazar is a famous market place in Habiganj district. It is the Upazila headquarters of Madhabpur Upazilla. It is a mini town. There are hospitals, banks, educational institutions, business centres etc in this place. The place is situated on the bank of a river.

Madhavpur market is well known, a beautiful, well organized market, where you can find all the daily necessities, very small to big products, clothes, electrical products, all kinds of raw vegetables, I go to this market and buy any product. Even the product quality is good.

One of the biggest market in Sylhet region. A well place for the businessman and people. All kinds of essential things are available in an appropriate price. Due to its geographical location inhabitants of surrounding areas like Nasirnagar, Bijoynagar and Sarail (in some extend) Upazila are substantially dependent on this market. Dhaka- Sylhet highway has also contributed for it’s enrichment. Along this waterways facility is also available from this market. As it is a big businesses place most of the banks have opened their branch here.
