Bangladesh Medical College (BMC), established in 1986, is the oldest private medical college as well as the oldest private institute for tertiary education in Bangladesh. The college is located in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. It is affiliated with University of Dhaka as a constituent college.
It offers a five-year course of study leading to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. A one-year internship after graduation is compulsory for all graduates. The degree is recognised by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council.

The college is attached to 500-bed Bangladesh Medical College Hospital.

Bangladesh Medical College (BMC) is the first non-govt medical college in Bangladesh. It was established in 1986 by a group of dedicated people called the founder members who were imbued with the ideas of providing quality medical education, research and services to people of this country at reasonable cost. The College and the Hospital are run by Bangladesh Medical Studies and Research Institute (BMSRI) which is established in 1984 and is a non-political and non-profitable organization.

The founder members dreamt of establishing a Medical College and Hospital with the aim of imparting medical education and after a much talk and discussion, Bangladesh Medical College was established on 13 April 1986.

Though i never went to bangladesh medical before.its my first time experience. But they r too supportive to any patient. And i found the medical clean satisfactory. And doctor and nurses r too caring to their patients.

The best doctors in Bangladesh studies and practice here. Most of the poor and underprivileged people come here for get good medication and surgery.

Their service is very good, but the hospital is not clean.

The best hospital in dhanmondi area for giving pure health services & staff services..

One of the best private medical college of Dhaka. Environment is usually good. Professor used to see patient here whole day.there's 2 slot. In morning tickets are 100 BDT & evening tickets are 200 BDT

I visited here for my father's treatment. You will get outcome from treatment with much less money compared to other big corporate hospitals. Although, services will be much behind compared to those hospitals.

I am working here as a Doctor, very cheap for getting treatment here in comparison to other private hospitals...service is good, but not suitable for multipurpose treatment facility

My grandmother from my wife's side was admitted there. I found that they are there with an unseen motive to help people. It's the greatest thing a patient's family member can wish on that time.
