Remakri Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall especially in the rainy season located in Thanchi Upazila of Bandarban district. It's also a tributary of the Sangu River.

One of the best natural place in Bangladesh. Best experienced in rainy season with good water levels. So definitely check the current state of Remakri before going.

Because from Thnachi through by Boat you can reach Remakri Water fall after that you need to start tracking where you want to go.

Beautiful environment and people. You can heading towards zina para or Nafa kumb. In the winter season you have to walk 2 hours to reach in Nafa kumb and 4 hours to zina para from Remakri bazaar. You can order food in here if you want to come back same day from Nafa kumb.

This is the best place to visit ( best tourist spot ) in Bandarban District. I recommend this place for the tourists. But it’s way costly. You have to hire boats which is 3500 tk per boat. Also you have to go to Thanchi upazila from where you ride boat which is 75 km far from Bandarban district. If anyone goes there, they should stay one night there.

A very different flavor in Bangladesh with combination of rocky, green and hill tracts area which will get you a very natural pleasure. Journey by boat on the Sangu river from Thanchi to Remakri will charm you every time with a lot of adventure. This is remote place and t no mobile network, internet but you get solar electricity inside the Remakri village. You will meet here tribe of Bangladesh, also enjoy their lifestyle and culture. This place is getting popular day by day to the tourist people because of natural beauty with adventure, cheaper food and living cost. Due to heavy rain and the mountains collapse the rainy season is not suitable as well as preferable to the tourist people. Some important terms you need to fulfill – Government registered guide, life jacket, photocopy of you photo id. You need to fill up a registration form get permission to visit here.

Process to visit Remakri:
1. First you have to reach in Bandarban then you have to go Thnchi. Thanchi is also atourist attraction.
2. You must have to take permission from local authority with proper identity registration and without registered guide you are not allowed to explore in Remakri.
3. After Taking permission you have to hire Engine boat to go Ramkri through Sangu River. Sangu River is another beauty queen. You may forget the time during crossing the Snagu River.
