A nice place for day trip near Dhaka.
Especially if you've interest about old palaces and cultural elements, Baliati Jamidar Bari can be a good destination.

P.S: You can not visit this place in most of the public holidays. This is kinda weird for a Tourist spot.

I love the place. The palace features a unique blend of architectural styles, combining traditional Bengali and European influences. It has large courtyards, ornate verandas, intricate woodwork, and spacious halls, showcasing the grandeur of that time. They have wheelchair entry also. Available washroom facilities for tourists.

I suddenly planned to go to the place where all the people were, there was their power and kingdom, there was their palace but today no one is alive but what remains is the memory and history left by them. Now all is fragile, no care, no king's reign, only the skeleton of the palace remains.

The palace is historic and it is a calm and soothing place. I liked the way it is, but felt it could have been maintained much better than current situation.

Last Friday 10'11'23 I visit this place, the place is very big and very pleasant environment, clean and very quiet, if one comes to Saturia, can visit. The ticket price was 30 taka per person which seemed a little high, 20-25 taka would have been better

Baliati palace is worth your visit. This palace has 7 buildings and a small museum in RongMohol! It is showcasing different things the Zamindars used to use for their everyday life. It was started building by Govindo Ram Saha. Later all the buildings were built by several heirs of the family.
You will get ancient flavour while enjoying to natural beauty. Try to avoid weekends because of extreme tourist pressure.
