Lots of book collected by Professor Abdur Razzak Sir are the main nucleus and assets which are organised there in very good manner. One can find an excellent environment for reading lots of books here. Have a vast collection about Literature, ancient history of India and Bangladesh, Politics, Economies, encyclopedia, Dictionary, various types of magazine, collection of news papers etc.

This library is based on the personal collection of respected National Professor Sir Abdur Razzaq.His intellectual level is outstanding and the collection depicts his highest level of interest for knowledge. Different kinds of books are available here like politics, history,art,novel,philosophy,science. All the books are categorically arranged into many shelves(more than 30) with book lists in each shelf. Some other great minds of our times have donated books here like Sardar Fazlul Karim(former student of Prof. Abdur Razzaq),Professor Dr. Anisuzzaman. Library arranges talk on various topics and the members are invited. People can read different national & international magazines & newspaper, browse internet here. This is a place for book lovers who have an enthusiastic mind to explore the vastness of knowledge and for free thinkers it's the place to learn how to think.

Gyantaposh Abdur Razzak Biddapeeth is one of the most popular and quality educational institutions in Dhaka City. People comes here to read books and practice bengali language and literature. This library is very popular and reputed among the readers community of Bangladesh. Wheelchair accessible entrance is not available here, nor any parking lot.

The Gyantapas Abdur Razzaq Bidyapeeth

Within the over-arching framework provided by the ARF, the Bidyapeeth took shape and was launched on 9 November 2015 The original collection of Prof. Razzaq remains the nucleus of the library housed at the Bidyapeeth. But an aggressive acquisitions program will be undertaken to make the holdings more current and more relevant to modern needs and demands, digital assets will be added, and access to new academic resources and technologies will be gradually incorporated. It is hoped that the Bidyapeeth will present a unique and exciting opportunity as a learning centre that encourages and supports research and scholarship, as a free and open educational environment for general readers secking knowledge and enlightenment, and as a monument to the erudition, inspiration and selfless devotion to objective analysis and intellectual refinement that Prof. Razzaq had exemplified.

Becoming a Bidyapeeth Member::

-Complete a membership application form;provide some form of photo-identification (NID, Passport, Birth Certificate, ctc.) submit two passport-size, and one stamp-size, photographs

- Follow the rules of the Bidyapeeth at all times

- There is NO membership fee

- Membership is for 12 month and may be renewed free

I personally didn't try it out yet, but the library looks fantastic. My main reason for going there is for my chess club.
