Azimpur Colony Party House Jame Masjid

There is a colony in front of Dhaka Eden College. The name of the colony is Azimpur Government Colony. Go inside and first go to the right and you will see a pond. On the other side of the pond is the Azimpur Colony Mosque. If anyone does not know, the security guards in charge of the colony will show them who will be there. The mosque is very beautiful. Lots of clean and tidy.

As I grew up in azimpur officers' quarters this has always been the mosque where I say my prayers.
Although I don't go to the mosque every 'waqt', I scarcely miss the Friday prayers.
The mosque sits beside a big pond which has been turned into a beautiful walkway.
There is a huge playground on the south side of the building where in the afternoon after Asr prayers you would see kids playing football and cricket.
The mosque is a two storey building with a place for preparation before prayer or ojukhana.
There is also a public restroom which is kept clean regularly.
The mosque has air conditioning which helps during summer heat.
During Ramadan the mosque arranges khatme tarabi which garners quite a bit of attention and the mosque is usually full during that time.
Also after esha and magrib prayers there is talim which is a discussion of Islamic rules and regulations from the holy Quran and Hadith.
The mosque is also a maqtab which means the imam and khadem teach children basic Islamic studies.
The environment for saying prayers is peaceful and relaxing and the tilawat of the imams is really soothing.
If you come in this neighborhood and if you're a Muslim, you should go in this mosque and you will feel good about it.

Azimpur party house Masjid is very renowned masjid around the 1st class government officer quarters area and it has a nice view in that place. The masjid is quite big in size and has an open ground and parking place in front side. There is a pond and a big park and walkway just opposite of the masjid. Young children and their parents spent good time in that park.
