কামরাঙ্গীর চরে যত গুলো পুরাতন, নামি,স্বীকৃত প্রতিষ্ঠান আছে তার মধ্যে হাজী আব্দুল আওয়াল উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় তাদের মধ্যে একটি।এখানে দুটি শাখায় বিভক্ত ক্লাস গুলো,১)প্রভাতী শাখা ২) দিবা শাখা।প্রভাতী শাখায় এখানে ছোট ছোট সোনামণিদের পড়ানো হয়।আর দিবা শাখায় ৫ থেকে ১০ পর্যন্ত হয়।এখানে প্রায় ২০০০ এর উপরে ছাত্র ছাত্রী আছে। এ বিদ্যালয়ে একটি পরিচালনা কমিটি আছে। এখানে পড়াশোনার মান বরাবর ভালো যেকোন স্কুলের চেয়ে।তাছাড়া তাদের নিয়ম শৃঙ্খলা বেশ ভালো।
