One of the historical masque of old dhaka.The mosque is built on the place of Nawab Haji Salimullah a kind hearted person. In the 1900s the time when The Scholar Ashraf Ali Tanhbi hujur payed a visit to bangladesh,The Nawab give his land in honor of him and this mosque and the madarasah were built.
The mosque always asks us to come in way of Lord Allah Subhanallhu tawalah
