Grand Nawab ~ Bangshal

The restaurant is has a very good reputation and they do maintain it well. The food taste hasn't changed a bit. I would suggest everyone to go and try it. Ambience & Atmosphere is too hygienic as well. Staff behaviour is also good.

The Grand Nawab is one of the best restaurant for Kacchi in Old Dhaka. Their service is very good. The taste of their food is decent enough and the decoration of their restaurant is pretty vintage. I really like the design of their interior.

Very good ambiance. Service was decent. We ate Kachchi biriani.
Taste: 8/10. A little bit oiler than I would prefer. The meat was good but not amazing. It is less on softer side. Rice was moderately flavored. It was decent and the texture was good.
Quantity: For 400 taka, they offer 3 piece of meats. One was bit larger than the other two. There was half potato as well. For comparison, Kachchi Bhai serves 4 piece of meats of equal size with much more rice at same price of 400 taka. You can read my Kachchi Bhai review from my profile.
Service: 7/10 little slow. We went at 10 PM. They also charged 6 taka more than the price (399 for kachchi+15 for water, they charged 420 taka). Of course we tipped seperately so it was not the tip.

Congested place ..kacchi was good not the best..i have had more delicious kacchi than this..meat needs more seasoning.. quantity is okay...jarda wasn't to my likings no flavors at all.

Kacchi was tasty but not up to the mark. Their interior and serving dish was so charming and eye soothing. Mutton leg roast price 300tk...Jafrani sorbat was full of badam and tasty.

The biriyani was the tastiest in Dhaka. and the environment is not other typical Old Dhaka restaurants.

Taste -
The best biriyani in Dhaka. They give so much rice that it can even be shared between two. The aroma fueled my hunger. There was potato too with two mutton pieces. The rice to meat ratio was a little bit off but the great taste made me look over it.

Undoubtly one of the best Kacchi in Town. People who are seeking ultimate traditional Mutton Kacchi Biriyani, This place must be heaven for them.
The highly aromatic Kacchi will hits your nose and also the tongue when you will taste the ultimate Kacchi from Grand Nawab. Meats in the kacchi is so soft and tender. Their labang and Borhani hase an ultimate killing taste.

and Also their out late is newly decorated in old Dhaka. But unfortunately theirs stuffs are little bit unprofessional and rude.

One of the best mouthwatering Kacchi in Bangladesh. Just loved that heavenly food. It was so yummy, their pickle was extra ordinary.

One of the best Biriany shop in town. they are very famous for the Kacchi Biriany and Morog Polaw. They have a special flavor that you wont find in other shop. The meat is really tender and juicy not very oily.

Loved this new extension of grand nawab. Soft nans, yummy kababs that make your mouth watery and oh that smell. Service needs to be faster and they need more staff. Chicken and beef items individually are too good. Food is quite cheap considering the quantity and the price altogether. Definitely gonna go there for a lot of times.

Nothing special. The size of the dining area is too tiny. The taste was average.

Just tried their Mutton Kacchi and Morog Polao along with the Zafrani Sarbat and Borhani. All items are good and tasty. Highly recommended to all the food lover's.

The best Kachi Biriyani on the town. The shahi Borhani & the Jafran Sharbat was excellent. But It's very small place.
