২০২১ সালের ২৪ মে ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (ঢাবি) মেডিকেল সেন্টারকে শহীদ বুদ্ধিজীবী ডা. মোহাম্মদ মুর্তজার নামে নামকরণ করা হয়েছে।

সম্প্রতি ঢাকা বিশ্ব‌বিদ‌্যালয় মে‌ডি‌কেল সেন্টার‌টির নতুন নামকরণ করা হ‌য়ে‌ছে।
নতুন নাম: শহীদ ডা. মোহাম্মদ মুতর্জা মে‌ডি‌কেল সেন্টার।

শুধু দাঁত ও চোখ এর ভাল চিকিৎসা হয়।।।

In the statement, they particularly hoped that the under-construction medical centre on campus is named after Liberation War martyr Dr Muhammad Murtaza.

The statement comes after several newspapers reported that the medical centre will be named after one of the country's reputed businessmen.

Eleven renowned personalities today issued a statement expressing hope that the structures and installations built in the premises of Dhaka University -- on the occasion of the golden jubilee of Liberation War and centennial of DU -- be named after martyred university teachers and officials.

This is a Medical center for the students and staff of University of Dhaka. It Includes doctors chamber for consultation, medicine store, Homeopathic consultation chamber, few bed for sick patient.

It’s good but not best actually. We need more professional doctors.
