Sohana Hotel

I simply love this place! This place is far away from the main Dhaka city. We used to go there cycling when we were students. Now we go by bikes. There is no parking place. So you would find it difficult if you are planning to go there by your car.

Regarding the food, i really love the Khichuri and dim vaji, along with different vorta including Alu vorta! Tastes really good and also very cheap! Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but you can atleast try once.

It is a hotel where people can eat many delicious food item just like, khuder bhat with 7 items of many vorta & egg poss. If people want they can order chicken with khudet bhat. most of the interesting part of this restutant is ...it has their own mmade Delicious Doi.

A great place to have a plate of khichuri full with other Bangladeshi traditional items, great environment and food taste is great. I would suggest others to skip visit it on a vacation or weekend, as food quality matters on rush as well as service... Over all a great place to enjoy surroundings...

Excellent place to have food for travellers and roaming cyclists. not for posh people though. the food is highly recommended. it's really tasty and the chatnis they provide makes it even better. Insar ali, the owner, is really caring and sincere about the comfort of cyclists. he even made a separate place to keep the cycles. the road to this hotel is really beautiful too. it'll be a great journey to a really grrat food.

Sohana Hotel, owned by Insar Ali, is known for its khud er bhaka (bhat=rice). There are lots of YouTube reports on this, so you can check those out for details. The food is good, cooked on clay burners. The mashed items are very spicy, so if you are not very much into spicy foods, you need to be cautious.
