Great place to have traditional food along with lots of sweet delicacies at an very affordable price! This place is rare find. Only problem is that it's located in Old Town and very hard to access on a working day. On Friday morning roads are quite free but crowd is very heavy! The place is a must visit at least once, as it will be a very memorable treat!!

This is the oldest and well-known hotel & restaurant in old Town, located at islampur road,patuatuli,dhaka

There are many famous food available here,such as #halim #luchi #laddu #sweet #tea etc.

The best things is the tea..i personally like..halim is also best..

It is one of famous restaurants at Islampur road in Old Dhaka. They are mainly famous for selling various kinds sweetmeats like Kalojam, Roshgolla, Chomchom, Roskodom, Sondesh, Laddu and many more. Quality of the product is good and for this reason it has a reputation. Price is little higher than other shops.

Excellent quality Bangladeshi confectionary from gulab jamun to rice based desserts. The Deli is minute and no English was spoken, but the owner and his two assistants managed nonetheless to be very hospitable and offered me their only stool to savour their sweets. And all for a ridiculously low price!

Very famous sweetmeat shop. There Gulab Jamun, Balu Shahi are very tasty. Specialist in dry sweets. Bhaji Paratha is also available in the morning for breakfast which is very delicious. Singara (samosa) is another unique item of there menu but it is only available before noon.
