Community efforts are crucial to prevent further degradation in the name of development.

Panthokunjo, the lone public park in the vicinity of Karwan Bazar intersection, has been practically off limits to city dwellers for years now since the authorities have been playing with park hours as they please.
The steel gates of the park remain closed throughout the day, only to be opened for a short period in the afternoon

It is a park where you can sit on the walk, eat some small things. There are lots of beans to play, lots of trees, the place was very clean, the metro works are getting dirty because of the work, besides the park is under development.

It is one of the most popular and busiest place in the city. You can find lot of people waiting there for bus and other vehicle. This place is very noisy all the time. Everyday I walk through their and I saw this something never changed.

This is a beautiful place in busy area. This place is good for morning. People come for morning jogging. The environment of Panthokunjo beauty of nature. The shape of the park also lucrative. This is a good place for refreshment and passing some times.

Now a days it closed for renovation and maintaining. I hope it would be more beautiful after beautification.

It is a very important and beautiful land in the midst of very crowded and busy area. It lets the people get relief of all stress and tiredness spending moments here. Besides, people of all the ages visit this place in the afternoon.

A beautiful place in a busy area

Panthokunjo!!! One of my favourite place for passing leisure time. It is the place where one can take breath. Though with passage of time the environment of the park getting dirty. Due to lake of monitoring, the park lost its past look. There is circular walkway in the park. Also have sitting arrangement. Health conscious people have the opportunity to jogging in the park. But there is proper monitoring. As a result the park become the destination of drug addicts and floating people. Very recently The Dhaka South City Corporation started renovation work of Panthokunjo park. Which is going on m....

Beautiful name of this triangular shape small park of Dhaka City. Not so big trees are available here. As it is in the middle of city space there are scope of make it more green and more accesible. It is less attractive to surrounding people. পান্থকুঞ্জ has less variety of trees.

This park is very popular for the peoples who loves physical exercise. In morning and evening many people do jogging and physical exercise here. There is lot of instruments for free hand exercise. People can use those for free. The park is open for all from 5 A.M to 11 PM.

This place is one of the important place in Dhaka. It situated near bangla motor more. Many peoples come here for morning walk. It is a good place for morning walk.

A park where man, woman in any aged are come for walking, exercise etc. Many old/new tree are surrounding the land.

Panthokunjo Park, the solitary public park that could serve residents of Kanthalbagan, Bangla Motor, Hatirpool, Farmgate, Karwan Bazar and adjacent areas, is a glowing example of indifferent attitude of the authorities, said locals.
Local residents including hundreds of children, desperately seeking some breathing space, are compelled to go to Ramna Park since the Panthokunjo Park stays closed throughout the day.
