The northernmost tip/point of Bangladesh. One of the busiest land border crossings between Bangladesh and India. Quite popular for importing stones from India and Bhutan.

Banglabandha Zero Point is the land port that was established as a trade link between India, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh, which became operational in 2011.

There is a day-ending Joint Retreat Ceremony that is conducted by the border security guards of India and Bangladesh at Banglabandha Zero Point at 4:30 p.m.

Nepal, Bhutan and India are very nearby from this border.

Tips
1.. There is no entrance fee for the site.
2.. The site is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Northernmost border point of Bangladesh at Banglabandha is a beautiful place to be visited. Retreat Ceremony is organised on Tuesdays and Saturdays of the week. Though on other days BSF hardly allows anyone to cross the fencing that is 100mtrs insite Indian Territory. But I could visit on requesting the personnel and submitting my Govt. Photo ID Card. The land on both sides has no difference, its the same sky same land same air that flows, but a line that divides us.

A new gallery has been built to host the viewers to enjoy the joint parade. The flag pulling session held by border security forces is also enjoyable.

Pretty beautiful place to visit. We visited quite randomly. Although it's very close to my home, we never knew about it. We randomly pointed it out on the map and went there.
In those terms, it massively exceeded our expectations. The Bangladesh side was more beautiful past the line of actual control. Not a must visit but can definitely consider spending 30-45 minutes in that area.
There's a retreat ceremony on Tuesdays and Saturdays which you can attend in the evening for free. I personally haven't been there but the extremely polite BSF personnel invited us there.
Don't forget to keep your ID cards handy to have a hassle free experience of the place.

The start of Bangladesh. The port is not always open. But when open you use it to travel to Siliguri or Darjeeling from Bangladesh cheaply. Also a good location to travel after watching Kanchan Jang Ha in Panchagarh.
