Main market of Kurigram city. Here you'll find all kinds of clothings, tailors, handicrafts, shoes. Nearby there is a big grocery named Zia bazar, it has the biggest fish shops of Kurigram. You'll find all fresh foods here. Some shops for cycle, bikes, sports, hardware are here too. Though zia bazar os too much noisy and the atmosphere is not much hygienic, price here for everything is cheap. You don't have to bargain too much. Special shops for handicraft, wooden crafts and pottery will be available in twice a week, saturday and monday. Kurigram super market also have some food shops. My personal favourite shop is bogura mishtanno vandar. It is famous for its sweets, puri, daal, curd and most importantly khirmohon & roshmalai. You will also find shops for ceramics products and crockery. Beside the market, there is a mosque, কুড়িগ্রাম কেন্দ্রীয় জামে মসজিদ, and a temple, কালীবাড়ি... So, in festivals, the market remains too much crowded and it is also decorated with lights and rickshaw and auto rickshaws are not permitted in super market road during festivals. No car parking available here, only a place for bike parking just in front of the road. Make sure you've taken a token after parking bikes, it'll only cost about 10 taka,sometimes you don't have to pay for it. Some new food shops are available in Dabir Plaza.
