Food House Mostar

We had recommendation for this restaurant from the free walking tour guide and give us a card when we have to the restaurant they have us free welcome drink and sweets . The food is really good and the location is nice in the old town

Nice place. We had a really good meal at this place. We ordered a vegetarian meal and a mixer plate. Portions are big and way too cheap for the price you get it here.
We got back again in the evening because it was so good. The second time we ordered pasta, well, not the best pasta but it was ok, however, we preferred the first meal.

Was recommended Food house from my hostel and I must say it has great Bosnian food. Delicious though it could have done with a bit more seasoning. I asked for salt+pepper. Dessert was also nice.

We went to a place with a view on the river before coming this place. The first place had a view but the kitchen was just reheating food. We realized we would have a terrible meal and made our way here. The restaurants on the river are great for a drink, but I wouldn’t recommend eating there. We ordered the cevapi and burger at this place and both were fresh and delicious. Our server Ben was great, and was helpful in explaining how to drink Bosnian coffee (without us asking).

This restaurant is probably my favorite in Mostar 👌 At first we did pick this place randomly. Since then, we went back every single day during our stay in Mostar. They are connected with several local activities and some of them organize by themselves. Not only the food is delicious, but you can learn about local cuisine by joining the Cooking Class. I highly recommend to visit this place. The stuff is really friendly and speaks good English 👍

Despite its simple name, this restaurant holds more thought, heritage, care and quality than you would think. The manager is engaged and is developing the menu all the time, creating a very refreshing experience.

A great range of traditional meaty and vegetarian dishes, that are so well-prepared it took me by surprise. I absolutely love the aubergine dish with chicken and potatoes. The best cooked potatoes I've ever had. Also, the staff here are so so friendly they could make your day :-)

The food was amazing and the waiters were very friendly and helpful. I really recommend it. also you can choose vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. Also they are pet friendly. I will come again soon

Food is down right amazing, the quality and portion size is exactly what you want and more. We ordered more than you normally might just because it was going to be so good, and it was. Service is top notch, Hamza was very knowledgable and great to talk to about the food and the area (with recommendations of places in town to go). Rajika selection was extensive and local. Highly recommend to sit and spend the time enjoying a delicious meal in this gorgeous, historic town.

As a coeliac I did not expect to have a place with consideration for and a great selection of gluten free and even Vegan if you enjoy options. I was told to try the meat dishes and decided to enjoy the Dolma with beef, rice, a tomato sauce, mashed potatoes and sour cream. It was a blast to the past to my childhood as my grandmother used to make this. It’s gluten free and absolutely delicious!! They also had gluten free beer which was a wonderful surprise. If you are not gluten free there are tons of great options, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful!!

Food house is a great place for travellers to get a taste of traditional food in Mostar. I liked that there were a lot of vegetarian options in the menu. I tried the grilled vegetable plate and baklava. The grilled vegetable plate was bursting with flavours. The service is on point. If anything, baklava was not as impressive as the rest of the things in the restaurant.

We were looking for a place in Mostar that could offer traditional food and some vegetarian option and this place was the best choice. We had traditional meat plate with amazing sauce and eggplant with some vegetables. As desert we ordered a combo that came with ice cream, baklava and another sweet that I forgot the name. Also, don’t forget to order the traditional Bosnian coffee!

What a fantastic spot. The staff were great and happy to recommend local food. The food was great, the coffee was great. Well worth visiting.

We were served by Fari (Ben) who was delightful. He made some perfect recommendations, took time to chat with us, and was on top of everything.

We recommend the rakija tasting paddle for pros! The traditional dishes were hot and fresh, and we could easily eat there every night of our trip.

The food and service is both great and I would definitely recommend it. I had two local dishes; stuffed paprika with mashed potatoes and a stuffed eggplant (imam bayildi). Both were very tasty.

Staff was quick to help and also very helpful in general. Our waiter showed us how to drink Bosnian coffee.

One of my favourite restaurants I’ve ever been too! Food is incredible! Visited this restaurant 6 times over my 3 night stay. Will come back to Mostar just to come here again!!

Me and my friends loved eating here. I ate Imam bayildi (vegetarian). It was delicious, and the portions are big :)

I searched the city for a local cuisine, Bolanski Lonac, this restaurant was the only one that for sure had it, however the season had not yet started and thus they couldnt make it. So i stead I ordered the Sultans Wedding Feast, it was absolutely excellent. If you are at your hungriest, this is a meal fit for you! Amazing local ingredients and so well prepared. I however made a promise to Ben that I will return for Bolanski Lonac. Ben also gave excellent customer service, and was attentative and prompt with any orders. Seriously Happy!

Went here 3 times. Always exceptional service from the staff. Clean toilets and free WiFi. No smoking.. İnside! Food very good a little more expensive than off the tourist track but still value. Had mixed vegetables platter, veggie burgers and penne arrabiata.. all quality products. Drinks OK. Bottle water very expensive..
