The trout fish like you never tasted before!!!
If you like adventure, you should start your journey by car from mountain Bjelašnica, continue to mountain Visočica, and after 1 hour drive by country side enjoying in beautiful landscape of Bosnia changing to the landscape of Herzegovina you will arrive in Glavatičevo - small place where restaurant Biser vrelo (Pearl Spring) is hidden. Restaurant is renewed in 2022 and it is very nice place near by Neretva river. People should go there for two reasons - to taste the best trout fish in the world or veal under the iron bell. I have been there 6 times and although I believe that veal is excellent, I never taste it so far - grilled trout fish always win. Maybe it is because of the recipe, maybe it is because of the magic sauce prepared of the herbs and spices typical for the Herzegovina, but it also could be the very warm hospitality of Juka and his family. Anyway, if you are coming to Sarajevo or Mostar and you have one day to spend I recommend you to go visit Glavatičevo from Konjic or driving from mountains to taste trout fish you never tasted before. But before you start your journey there it is also recommended to call the restaurant and check if it is open because it does not work at winter time (it is restaurant with outdoor seats).

Wonderful place with a standard menu, fresh trout grilled on a charcoal and boiled potatoes with a very fresh salads. Wonderful location close to the Neretva river in the middle of woods.
