Jahorina Ski Centar / Jahorina Ski Resort

We had a great time skiing in Jahorina over new years. There are reliable modern lifts and lots of good places to eat and drink. The only downside was that smoking is still allowed inside within cafes. Card is not accepted for payments everywhere so to avoid expensive cash withdrawal fees you can take Euros and pay with them. Everyone we met was very friendly and we have already recommended this resort to others. If we go back we were told that the best time for snow coverage is usually February.

Great ski resort. Multiple lifts including gondola, 6 seaters (and others) and connected ski pists are very convenient. There are a lot of variety of pists that are suitable for every level of skiing. If you manage to come at the sunny day, you will have a great experience with a lot of bars and nice after ski. On the other hand, Sarajevo is 40 min drive from here, so, you can have a great night life as well. Highly recommended.

Must to visit! You can rent a hotel room or apartment there. Also it's pretty easy to come from Sarajevo. Will take 35 min by car.
The nature is stunning, all facilities are available with good customer support.
There are trails of varying difficulty : blue, red and black. Irrespective of your level you can easily go without instructors.
There are nice tracks thru the forest where u are just riding and enjoying the nature.
It was good call of the operation team when it was snow storm and some lifts and gondolas were closed. They arranged a bus connection to other trails and dropped rides there where lift was operational. Just right on time, we enjoyed a lot !
Definitely will come back!

Ski resort absolutely on par with those of western europe, for a fraction of the price, with better food, and great snow even in march. The cablecars are plenty and modern, there are no queues anywhere and there is a good variety of slopes that can suit anyones needs! Will definitely return in the future!

The best ski center in the region and beyond. Excellent trails, new gondolas, new six-seaters. Dead skiing is by far the best. Cafe Olimp on top of Jahorina throws parties until night skiing.

Again in Jahorina and another great experience. Olimpijski centar an Goverment of Republic of Srpska did great job, I wish them to continue in same dirrection in creation of best ski resort in this part of world.

Coming from Slovakia for a weeks holiday, it was a pleasant experience. Good vibe and nice people! + Slopes are rather short but with decent variety - Jahorina offers a little bit for everyone. - It can get crowded on the easier trails and I was surprised to see many unexperienced skiers on the steepest trails. Infrastructure and staff was great and when considering the ski pass price - very good value. Food was more expensive then I thought it would be though and smoking inside of restaurants should really be a thing of the past. Bonus: a day off in Sarajevo with a lot of cevapi and baklavas!
