A hidden gem where simple but great food is served.

You will never make a mistake if you choose their steak and the Dveri veal schnitzel. Super fresh and delicious.

Their pogača is also like a homemade one and it is worth the order. Prices are fair compared with the quality you get.

Atmosphere is super cozy, probably one of my favorite interiors in the city.

Nice intimate restaurant which provides some shade and coolness where you can have an excelent meal away from the busy center surroundings. The food was excellent, I recommend the home made bread, it was hot and not like any other I tried so far, it was more like a huge croissant, absolutely delicious. Prices were more than fair and the staff very friendly speaking very good English.

Should you find yourself in Sarajevo this is a must go to place to eat tasty meals. I would recommend calling for reservation because they seem to get busy.

The best restaurant in Sarajevo.
We made a reservation for the day before while we were travelling in the old bazaar. When we arrived at the exact time, our place was ready.
I recommend the homemade wine.
The food is absolutely super tasty and the portions are really big. They even packed what we couldn't finish.

The best restaurant you can find at the old town of Sarajevo. A range of cuisines you can choose. The local bread, steak and meat stew are highly recommended.
Please also try their house wine… excellent quality with good prices.

Very nice restaurant. Its my first meal after a long flight and long drive and its sooooo good that I came back in the evening but sadly its fully booked.

The interior dining room at Dveri is decked out with a gorgeous forest-like atmosphere. But not only was the romantic setting a highlight, the food was a step above as well! We started with their homemade bread, four swirled rolls with a crusty exterior and a warm, soft interior. Then came the Country Platter, a charcuterie board of sorts for sharing. The selection of appetizers included smoked pork, spicy pork sausage, Travnik cheese, and warm cornbread, along with cucumbers, peppers, scallion, a spicy red pepper, and a whole tomato! My favorite components included the salty, crumbly Travnik cheese and the cornbread, which actually contained melted pieces of cheese, which added a salty unctuousness. Finally, we had the Squid, which was chopped and sautéed with potatoes in a white wine garlic sauce and served with chopped lettuce. Everything we had here was delicious and beautifully-presented, and the portions were extremely generous, especially given the prices!

I’ve been thinking about this place a lot since eating here today and yesterday. This has clearly become in my mind the best meal i’ve had this year and perhaps in recent memory. I’ve spent the last few months traveling in europe and live in new york and I cannot recall anything that tasted so pure, delicious and fresh.

The small glimpse i had into the kitchen gave me a guess why, there was a small army of women who clearly look like they know their culinary traditions well. I’m leaving Sarajevo tomorrow, but I will continue to think back on the meals i had here and wonder if i will have another goulash, ajvar or mućkalica this tasty, or bread with quite this savory. thank you dveri.

Authentic delicious food, awesome soups (I tried the veal soup), carpaccho was great as well, bred is good as well. Atmosphere inside feels like at the authentic house. Servers were polite and suggested some food to eat.

Great food, I strongly recommend the homemade bread. Unfortunately credit card are not accept here, only cash. They accept euros however.

One of the pricier places in Sarajevo but we’ll worth it if you want delicious food.

A must for all who want to experience national Bosnian food in a comforting atmosphere. The service here was the best! The waiter suggested we added the home made bread to our order and we thank him for it. It was some of the best bread we've ever had, definitely don't skip on this. The goulash was delicious and perfect for the rainy day too. It's a bit more expensive maybe but totally worth it!

i recommend this place, the interior and location are great. service is fast and nice. food is AMAZING. i recommend fried peppers filled with cream cheese. very good food :)

Delicious food in a cosy atmospheric little restaurant. The staff were so helpful in recommending what to order and really friendly. We had the cheese, homemade bread, and goulash , all were fantastic.

Amazing and delicious food in a lovely restaurant. The servers were all very kind and fast. The food delicious. The place has also very particular and characteristic interior design like in an old taverna and eating here was a true delight. Especially if you sit inside it’s almost like being in an oasis taking a break from the frenzy old city. I will definitely come back next time I’m in Sarajevo.
