The tour guide was very eloquent and very well informed. She was kind and professional. The bunker itself is amazing. A must-see.

Nuclear shelter - Yugoslav war command center from cold war period. Tito’s secret atomic war command center, capable to host 350 persons - state and army leaders, can survive for 6 months inside shelter.
Shelter is underground facility, entrance is camouflaged with ordinary house, secured by nuclear prof door behind house, can survive nuclear impact up to 25 kT.

Interesting site, the bunker is completely intact, it was converted to an art museum, so not al interiors are saved, but enough to get a good idea of how it was. Excellent (english speaking) guide that has interesting things to say but also lets you explore on your own. Fascinating peace of history.

I thank those that chose not to dynamite this piece of history. A truly intriguing interior with some art pieces mixed in among some sections.

You really get to see how a nation expects to live when the end of days comes.

Now imagine that Tito himself died before it was finished! Never could he have thought the end of days and downfall of Yugoslavia would actually come from his own mortality.

A fantastic and fascinating dive into a cold war bunker. Slightly confusing setup - those aren't opening times, they're the timed slots for tours. And it's kinda hard to buy tickets online, but they do take cash on entry.

Once inside you can see the operation of the bunker, several rooms with original (and uber-cool) furniture, plus art installations from a variety of Balkan artists responding to the bunker and the politics of the region.

Highly recommended

Fascinating piece of history and an informative, thorough tour that lasts over an hour. Nice day trip from Sarajevo… about 90 minutes unless there is traffic.

Third most expensive project in Yugoslavia. Nice touch of history. You visit Tito's office and sleeping room.

Incredible experience. Don’t miss out on this tour if you’re around. You’ll learn a lot about Tito and the history of Yugoslavia.

The whole excursion was like a time capsule. So fascinating. Our tour guide was super nice and she explained everything really well. Although we would have preferred if the group was smaller (sometimes it was hard to hear the guide through the noise) we enjoyed the tour very much. Hvala!

A must see and worth driving there.
Very good intinerary, filled with modern art but in good shape as atomic bomb shelter from 70's...

I was so fascinated with bunker. The enterence is interesting, you get into the house and then under the ground. Worth visit if you are interested in these kind of stuff, but if you are not please don't go in and ruin a tour for others such as some people did in our group.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The bunker has a very interesting history. There are some art exhibits in the bunker which takes away from the authenticity. But some context could be given during the tour.

Amazing place to visit. It is a guided tour around the bunker. You need to buy the tickets at the office couple kilometers before the bunker at a crossroads.

Don't go directly to the bunker, first you must buy the tickets in the nearby Motel Vila Bijela. The people in the motel didn't speak English, but they called for a guy who could and he came within like 10 minutes. The bunker was fascinating and really is worth to visit.

Fantastic place if you like Cold War history, human ingenuity or have survivalist tendencies. The place is truly massive and well thought through. All countries have similar structures but they are rarely so easily (and cheaply) accessible. The guide was well informed, friendly and professional. You can buy the ticket on the spot or via an agency. The price should be 20KM / €10 regardless (Oct 2019).

Really incredible place - basically a time capsule. Equivalent to 20 billion US dollars in today's money to build this place and it's all still hooked up, ready to go and untouched. Absolutely fascinating.

Must do when you're in the area. Unique underground bunker built during Tito's regime, costing $4,6 billion and was never used. Tour takes 90 minutes and starts 3 times a day, just turn up at the gate and wait. Tickets can be purchased on site (KM 20, cash only). Tour includes the whole facility, available in English.

This is the old bunker of Tito. The prices are okay and you will have nice impressions of living in a bunker. You can see there Tito’s personal apartment and many many other rooms. The guide tells you always what this room is/was. The bunkertour takes more than one hour. The bad thing is parking with a car, there is not much space to park your car.
