Banja Luka airport

Small but excellent! Clean. Very helpful and polite staff. Safe at these unstable times. Hope it grows.

Very, very small airport with one terminal. There is one coffee place and mini shop. Free WiFi. After security control there is only waiting room with few places to seat, toilet and free water. There is only few connection to another airports and only one flight in the same time so you don't have to be in hurry - max 1h before flight will be enough. If you flight to Banja Luka Airport, you don't have to worry about transportation to city center. There is always few buses (cost 8-10 Euro), some taxis (20 Euro). You can also contact with "Good Host Banja Luka" on Facebook or Whatsapp (you can find their site on Internet), they also organize transfers from and to Airport (cost 8 Euro per person). They also offer some trips and tours in Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the end you can pay with Euro everywhere, and many places also accept credit cards. The last clue always ask people there if you need or looking something, they are really good and helpful people, even they don't know you language they try to understand and help. For me Mostar is more worth to see than Banja Luka. If you have any questions - just comment and leave like :)

Very handy airport. Express service. 1 runway, tiny. ´Arrivals´ is a little building with passport control right beside the luggage belt. Within 5 min you get your passport checked, go the the loo and get your luggage all within a few meters. Exit the door, you´re outside, the shuttle service to town (Simljic Travel) is waiting for you, no need to prebook. Next door in ´departures´ there´s an ATM tucked away in a corner.

I am traveler but not a nervous traveler, had to spend four hours at banja luka international Airport. It is one of the best and nice airports I have seen. They are currently doing renovations and so the toilets were closed. The arrival area (once you have exited the luggage pick-up) is dimly lit and there is nowhere to go except the bar (where one must continuously buy things and where 'unofficial' money exchange individuals operate their 'offices') or two rows of metal chairs in the main hall. I chose the bar area since the main hall did not seem very safe and because there are no seats in the Departures area. The bar charges a fortune for internet access. On top of this, check-in is only available two hours or so before your flight leaves and one can only go through the elaborate security procedures at this point. Extremely surly passport/customs officials. I would not fancy spending the night at this Airport ! I had another lay-over on my return journey (this time it would have been for over 6 hours) but thankfully through my work contacts someone rescued me from the airport ordea. Small but efficient and sufficient. Close to the city.
Even though it's way better than the other Bosnian airports, it's way too small to fit people in. I remember getting in the arrivals/departures (which is the same area) just to be squeezed around by other people who were waiting in front of the door to even enter the airport. And that was an air Serbia a320 which was half full. I can't even imagine what happens when 80% load Ryanair lands with 200 people... They need to invest money and expand it at least twice, if not trice!

Very nice airport, small but renovated and clean. And i would give 10 stars if I could to all people who works there, i traveled few times with little baby and they always bring me all the way to the front because i am with little child and should not be waiting in the line. Very very kind people.

Reasonable distance from BL town, friendly airport staff but could do with a proper bar and better parking management.

Very clean and renovated airport. The staff is very kind. I think this is the best airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Tuzla and Sarajevo should learn from Banja Luka Airport how to keep the airports clean and comfortable.

Tiny airport but it has all the stuff you need. Hopefully with time they will have more and more flights to more destinations.

Small airport but in my opinion the best in Bosnia and Herzegovina. All stuff are kind and polite. I traveld from all BiH airports but BNX is the only with friendly stuff. I hope that airport will continue to grow with Ryanair. Banja Luka deserve to have this Airport.

Friendly and helpful employees, and airport is small but renovated. Hopefully with time and new airlines/flights coming it's going to be even better

Small & clean airport, that gets it done. Needs to be expanded, add *NOTHING TO DECLARE* lane, bigger waiting room and regular standard bus line.
