Lynch Road Food & Liquor

For the last several years, I've been a member of a vintage lolly group on Facebook. The group hasn't taken off; or "gone viral" as I'd hoped. I really regret not speaking up against the name. I mean, who would join a group called "Sweet Things we Sucked in the 60's"?
But anyway, I digress.
As you may have guessed, I have a sweet spot for confectionary that pre-dates my own birth. When I first discovered Lynch Road Food & Liquor, I felt like a kid in a candy store!
The store boasts a wonderful collection of vintage sweets. I once found an elusive Polly Waffle hiding behind a box of late 80's Drifter Bars!
While the vintage confectionary is impressive, the liquor range is simply unmatched anywhere on Lynch Road, Fawkner, north side of the road. Whatever your liver desires; be it a 6 pack of West Coast Coolers, some Malibu, or a Fruity Lexia. Or perhaps you'd like to elevate your dinner party with a bottle of fine wine or champaign from one of some of the most exciting up-and-coming wine makers such and the Canary Islands or the People's Republic of Congo, Lynch Road Food & Liquor had you covered.
The owners are lovely and are always up for a chat about the weather, French Impressionists, or Crypto.
I hope this place exists forever.

Run by some very friendly folk! It's the place we go to for those 'oopsies-we-forgot-something-on-our-list' moment. My partner also appreciates their stout selection.
