The General Store Cumnock

Let's keep these beautiful country towns alive. Fabulous food, great coffee for my troublesome husband (I'm just normal), and friendly service.
Not someone to buy (thermos in the truck) but worth investing in our country. Home made vanilla slices, apparently cakes are made by local farmers and their wives, really nice meat pies, and they cook other things too. Post office is there too, and most groceries you could need.

Can never expect the world in little stores in little towns but had the basics needed and a lovely owner happy to help.

Cumnock store has wonderful welcoming staff. They have a wide selection of both ingredient foods and delicious takeaway menu. They are a post office and also stock hardware items... A great all round store in a delightful location... You should visit and try it for yourself!
