I recently had the pleasure of dining at a remarkable Sri Lankan restaurant that left a lasting impression on my taste buds. From the moment I stepped into the establishment, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an extraordinary culinary journey.

A big store with a huge variety of Sri Lankan and Indian food. You will find almost everything in this store including all kind of spices, rice and frozen food etc etc.

Prices are reasonable and parking is available in front and beside the store.

Had an excellent experience when I went in to get some lunch on a Sunday. Queue was 6 people deep but everyone seemed to know the rules (so obviously lots of regulars). Ordered lamb curry (delicious and spicy), eggplant curry (also delicious and spicy), rice, roti and samosas. Every morsel was amazing, I think I paid $40 for everything which is incredible value. Highly recommend!

Don't know about the others but the staff member who served me was beautiful, she was patient with me while I asked questions, packed everything carefully and charged me for exactly what I bought, all itemised on the receipt.

The one, the only MKS for incredibly large range of hot, cold, frozen and packaged goods at the most reasonable prices in Melbourne with friendly polite kind service. We gladly make a 20km trip for the pleasure of a visit

Love having this as a local place to get my spices and, most of all their hot food.

Their goat curry and fish pan rolls are my favorite.

This place never disappoints. Lamb pan rolls the best!

This place is one of my favourite. Heaps of indian items. Amole varieties of spices, rice, flowers, snacks, pickles and sweets. They also have a mini restaurant mostly take away but there are 2-3 tables as well to eat. The price range is un beatable and all the staffs are friendly and helpful.

BEST place to try Sri Lankan + Indian food and groceries, been visiting this place for last 6 years and never disappoints, Friendly and supportive staff ( if you're being nice to them) but seems short staffed, and of course understandable for a small shop. If you're in a hurry try to avoid rush hours cause people take time to select food and place could be packed.

Very nice food. Curry boxes very handy for a quick meal- heat & serve with some cooked rice , pappadoms pickle etc.

Used to go here regularly before covid. Finally went back after 3 years. Nothing has changed except for the price and still affordable. Got great service as well.

Great Asian grocery, good prices on fresh spices and stuff. The curries and samosas are wonderful and very reasonably priced. Can get quite busy at dinner time but they make a real effort not to keep you waiting.

The best Sri Lankan takeaway food and groceries on the inner east side. MKS never disappoints! I would love more mild options for the curries though. My stomach can no longer handle too much heat, after acclimatizing to living in Australia. I suspect there are many other Sri Lankan migrants who have the same issue. The spice levels would be through the roof for most born-and-bred Australians. Would love to see more mild potato curries, jackfruit curries and capsicum curries on the menu :)

Food looked great yesterday, had a super tasty vege roll, great range of cooking products

Totally delicious chicken biryani, chicken marsala curry, dhal and roti. I'm going back for the biryani with the whole boiled eggs, which I last had in Bangalore in the last century!

Very reasonable prices for delicious foods and goods. Being going to MKs for few years now. Never had a bad experience. Service is great. Staff is friendly

In spite of Corona issues the place is well organised. Staff polite courteous and responds to queries. Wide variety of cooked food as well as fry rations from the Indian subcontinent
