This place is amazing. Many cooked dinner options. The roast pork and vegetables were incredible. feel so lucky having i as my new local

Went in on a quick stopover in the area and was overwhelmed by the service and selection available here. I was greeted by some of the nicest people and especially David who I think was the manager. I only needed a drink and a sandwich but he helped me get a much better deal than what I originally was buying.

The selection available in store is really varied and fresh products are plentiful.

There also was a great price on specific wine but I couldn't fit any in my bag at the time.

Would definitely return.

This IGA is located in Eaglemont and for an inner suburb IGA it is always stocked with fresh fruit, deli, hot chickens and is a no brainer to head to if there is ever another pandemic. No more expensive that the big 2.

Went in last-minute when I realised it was Good Friday and most places close because of the whole Jesus cave thing.
Needed dinner for my puppy and they even allowed her to come inside.🐶🐈🍴

Always a good shopping experience here. Nice selection of fresh fruit and veg, cheeses and more upmarket cuts of selected meats. The deli is always offering some nicely prepared cooked meals as well as all the regular items you'd expect. In the liquor department, a wide selection of great wines with some real "manager's choice" bargains amongst them. Also a pretty good variety of craft beers kept in the fridges. Best of all they support a lot of the local community & sports groups as a small percentage of all sales, which is much appreciated. A terrific local community supermarket, good on them!

A fantastic local store. Paul and the team are to be highly commended on their integrity and honesty. I accidentally dropped some cash in the store whilst shopping last week. An hour later with a little local sleuthing by the Foodworks team, I have been contacted and money returned. This could only happen in a local store where everyone takes pride in being connected with the community. Thank you. And I love shopping locally!!!!

I thought it was going to be an IGA type of store. Boy was I wrong! This store is amazing. The fruit and vegetable display in the best I have seen in any shop. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the food is wonderful. Plus they deliver! The Deli section is to die for and they even sell wine. What more could a girl ask for?

I LOVE East Ivanhoe Grocers - can't recommend the place more highly.

Debbie and Paul, the owners, work hard alongside their employees, seemingly always there, and it is an approach that appears to have worked well for them - the shop is always busy and given the choice, I would always favour a shop at East Ivanhoe Grocers over the big boys.

The produce on offer is always super fresh and top quality. The range of goods on offer is astonishing given the size of the place. And Debbie and Paul are always willing to try new lines or bring in new products to meet the demands of their customers. Have a favourite stinky cheese they don't stock? Just mention it and Debbie will have it in to try often the next day. Like a local boutique winery that won't stock the big boys? Mention the name to Paul and he'll make sure he can sell it to you before your next dinner party.

My favourite part of the whole store is "Debbie's Deli". It is just to die for. Debbie has worked tirelessly over the years to transform what was a really tired, old and daggy suburban deli that sold cabana and not much else into an impressive upmarket urban and chic delicatessen stocked full of all the deli essentials, together with some true artisan product hard to find anywhere else, along with loads of house-made produce (some of which has been made by Debbie herself!) that will make your mouth water.

Lastly, the staff at East Ivanhoe Grocers are great - you can tell they love working there, always quick with smiles, and they take the time to get to know their customers (who are mostly locals able to meander to the shop from home). A visit to this wonderful shop often ends up feeling like you've enjoyed an outing to a village general store in England!

Great little supermarket with a huge selection of groceries and fresh fruit and vegetables. I love their deli - they have meals you can take away and reheat at home like gourmet pies and sausage rolls, frittatas, spanakopita and so much more including freshly made gourmet salads and fresh delicious cakes. Great vegan and vegetarian options are available within the store too. Includes a liquor store and the Staff are very friendly.

Fantastic Gourmet offerings! Used to live near by - and I've moved but still come back as their stuff is so good! Brought home perfect pizza for dinner and the filo for lunch. Can't do better

Love the freshly made salads in the deli section as well as home-cooked meals. Can even find gluten-free meals there. Staff are so friendly and helpful.

These guys are absolutely fantastic!!! I have been getting delivery from them for over two weeks now and their service is brilliant, food choices wonderful. Thank you.

On the road for work I required a nice bottle of Red, Paul was extremely helpful in assisting and had a great knowledge of his wines.
I took an apple away with me which was fresh and crispy.
