I went here to buy a harness for my dog. It is a cool harness, it has a carry handle and is camo which makes the miniature schnauzer look hardcore AF. not the green camo more like a grey camo. It also has a tactical Velcro pouch that I have put his survival tool in for emergencies. Even dogs need their EDC for unexpected survival situations.
They also sold me a lead thing that clips him into the seat belt. I was disappointed in his ability to unclip himself though. If we had a car crash it would be good if he could unclip himself and go and alert the emergency services. I am pretty sure I saw Lassie do that as a kid.
The staff were super helpful and we have bought stuff there for our numerous pets for many years. So yeah, 5 stars

As someone with 10 ferrets, a dog, a cat, and a duck, Derks Pet & Rural have been our one stop shop for pet food, kitty litter, general medicines (like flea treatments), and most other pet needs. Their prices are often cheaper than the supermarkets nearby, and they have a range of supplies that are amazing. If we ever move away from this area, It will be hard to find another all-round pet shop as good as this team.

Moved to the area recently and was desperately looking for a pet store which stocked supplies for my poultry, cat and dogs.... luckily derks is in a handy location with onsite parking and very helpful staff!
