FLAT OUT

We have been using Flat Out for 6 months full time on the road now and it has made getting water, setting up power and grey water simple and quick. Nice and easy to use and stores great.

We did have a small issue with the 1.5m water hose but Zoe was amazing to deal with and express posted a new one straight out to us into the middle of WA.

I have recommended this to produced to friends and family alike.

Storage reels purchased through Flat Out International have made my life a lot easier to store in my caravan's limited spaces for electrical leads, sullage and water hoses. Flat Out International is a company with great after-sales service. Zoe's assistance with a minor issue was expedient and friendly. Recommend highly.

I was looking for better caravan hoses to save time and space on setup and pack down of the camper - I quickly discovered Flat Out hoses and hose reels. I’ve had enough of bulky hoses that take up too much space and take too long to setup on my small camper trailer. Flat out hoses are a great solution! The team at flat out are very helpful and their customer service is excellent. I could contact them with any questions and they are a team of people who genuinely want to help you have the best possible experience with their products. Not only that but I purchased reels to store the extension leads. Their products are clearly useful for tradespeople and musicians who need to store leads, hoses and ropes. Now onto my next camping adventure!!

Very impressed with the products we have (water hose, grey water hose and multi reels). The grey water hose in particular is awesome compared to the standard plastic ones- better for storage, squeezes out water when packing it up and can drive over it. We had a minor issue with our water hose (we are travelling fulltime) and with minimal fuss we got a replacement hose sent to us under warranty so we could continue on our way. Couldn't recommend enough.

I love the multi-reel, this is one of the best pieces of kit i have. Great for flat hoses, extension leads & starlink cables (probably many other leads as well), keeps things well organised, stacks together - super compact! i use at home, in my truck and tow behind. Highly recommend.

After a year of packing the caravan and fighting with awkward hoses and frustrating cable runs we found @Flat Out Multi-Reel. Came across a family using one of the flat hose setups and was sold on the product within seconds.

Ended up ordering:
-15m flat drinking hose/reel
-9m sullage hose/reel
-2 x reels for Starlink and Power.

Not only are the products fantastic, the aftersales service from Zoe and her team is second to none. We had a couple of minor weeps from our drinking hose randomly appear but managed to easily get Zoe on the phone, got honest feedback and had a new hose on our doorstep within 2 weeks!

Awesome service backed by a great product. We will be buying again.

Zoe provided a fantastic stand at the Newcastle Caravan Show. The product is of high quality and great range. The colours were vibrant.

The parts are easy to assemble if preparing a hose. Make sure you scroll all the way to the bottom of the article you are reading. I did not the first couple of times and missed out on some tips and tricks. The are short videos and are worth watching, simple and informative

Bought my first Flat Out hose & reel 10 months back, in readiness for hitting the road fulltime for the next 5 years or so (that makes us 'Caravanati'!! 😁)

I can now see that's where my additiction began!

Next, was a Flat Out sullage hose & Multireel. Then a short sullage hose extension for those odd places we're you're right on top of the hose point. And, of course, you want a mini reel for that, right?

Next came the 15amp power cords! Standard reel for the long, mini for the short.

At that point I figured we were finished UNTIL . . . I dropped a full besserblock on my Standard reel! It did pretty well in saving my hose, but suffered 'catastrophic damage' in that selfless act (on its part, stupid act on mine!) So I ordered a replacement - in Standard grey.

Next, we got Starlink RV. And 30 metres of bloody cable! So, needed a mini for that (pic)

THEN, they brought out the orange reels! They match my power cables!! So, gotta have one for the long cable, at least (waiting for the orange mini to appear for the short!)

Dear Abby, do I need help with my addiction. Or can I keep going (I mean, it's not as though I'm hurting anyone, is it?)

Fantastic Product have been using now for a couple of years. Would never go back to the old way of storing hoses and leads. Worth every cent.

The products sold by Flat Out are first class. The reels are made in Australia and the quality is superb. They are robust, excellent in design and give years of trouble free service. These products are so far ahead of reels imported from Asia that comparison is irrelevant. If you want something to work rather than buying something which looks like it might but inevitably fails, spend a bit extra, support a local manufacturer and receive a quality product.

I purchased a Flatout drinking water hose in 2010 for our first caravan which developed leaks in 2017. After chatting with Flatout they asked me to return the hose. Flatout then replaced the water hose with a new hose which appears to be better quality than the original. Many thanks to Dennis from Flatout for his excellent service and information. I love the design and ease of storage of these hoses and will continue to recommend them to other caravan travellers.
